For myself, I think if I want to suppress a 80fpe airgun (.30 cal) I will have to use the emperor to see any difference

Yeah, depends on the application. Have not tried the Emperor so have not had the experience with it. I found that the Ronin for a .30 is a good compromise. Tatsu propably is way too small for a 80fpe .30cal as you said.

Ok... you just got me subscribed... and why??? Because you brought up an interesting point. You mentioned that pcps react differently to different moderators. You cannot clean or upgrade moderators on a breakbarrel... and if you can then its definitely not as easy and thats why I bought my air venturi avenger. Good job on pointing out how different moderators work on pcps.😊😊

Thanks for the subscription and watching my videos! Yeah it has been a wild ride with the moderators with just one PCP platform. It definitely makes you think about the complexity on PCP tuning in general. That was one of the reasons why I have a new platform now that I am using :PI will go into further detail what those reasons were in future videos but The Hatsan Flash that I had for testing sure is a great platform for starting out and even competing!

I was looking into that for my AEA SS 25 It’s the cheapest one they have at $100 and I think 45 for the adapter but the slickest and streamlined which will make a difference when I put this in my backpack with an 8 inch barrel

HI!!!!Will this mod. work in 22 marauder as well as in the 25 Marauder air rifle? so i can just swap'em?

If you get it in .25 it will definately work. I had mine as .25 due to the shroud surrounding the barrel on my Flash. I got it just in case there is some slop on the shroud so I don't clip it. Marauders should be fine not one upping the moderator. If you have .25 in the .22 barrel it will be just a tad louder, that's all.

I have been having problems with the tatsu on by avenger but it was just me with unrealistic expectations to its quieting abilities

If you have tuned your rifle to have relatively high FPE (around close to 50FPE) I have noticed myself that it starts to have problems. Also I have noticed that it can make a wierd whisling sound after the shot, to my understanding this is because the expansion air from the shot is bursting out from the moderator too fast. I though that I had broke the moderator myself, but luckily I found out I was just shooting way too hot! :D

That test was false reading because you was at the rang and fire arms was affecting the meter

If you look closely to the db readings and the time of sounds on the video you can see that the measurements are accurate. The sounds from the other range did not affect the db readings. Both cameras were synced with timestamp.

A really a boring video, hardly a sound reduction that warrants such a HIGH PRICE ! What FPE is the gun shooting at ? is it an FAC rated rifle? You should try the A&M Twink!

Thanks for the constructive feedback. I have made big improvements on my videos after filming this and I hope the new reviews are not nearly as boring :D Thanks for watching them! I actually have been thinking about reviewing this moderator with my better PCP platform in the future and condensing making a newer version of the review with more experience behind using it. I am shooting the 18.1gr pellets out of the Flash and they are going around 37FPE. Therefore, it would be considered FAC rated in the UK. With limited budget and limited resources there is only so many moderators that I can review with my own buying power. Maybe in the future manufacturers would actually want to send them to me for a review, but I think with the size of my channel I have to make some compromises. I have reviewed a more cost efficient moderators also for sub 100$ category: kzbin.info/www/bejne/ipzOk4GBj810j8U
