Over the last 15 years parents are spending a ton of money on training and developing their kids in sports. When I grew up in school you only got coached in season. You didn’t have private coaching or year round leagues. Everything was learned on your own and from other kids on the playground court

clingan vs edey doesn't make sense. Edey's stats are almost double Clingan's stats. Edey is bigger. Edey is a 2X player of the year. The mock drafts have Clingan going 10 spots higher. I'd take Edey with the top pick.

Edey is much better than Clingan offensively. But Clingan is way more athletic than Edey. Plus Clingan is a beast on D. That athleticism is what will work better in the pros.

@@Soxruleyanksdrool Respect, but Edey reminds me of Kareem. He's almost got the sky hook. The kid didn't pick up basketball until he was 16. He's only 21. I think there's room for both to be good players. I always think of having 2 big men as Robinson and Duncan being the key to winning in the NBA.

What’s this narrative from Colin that Edey was a stiff and a slouch last year? Yes he has improved…but he was also the consensus NPOY last year, and jumped a couple points in scoring this year …he wasn’t the reason for their loss last year. It has been the guard improvement. It’s a false narrative when you look at the production of Edey the last 2 years he has been dominant …he didn’t grow into his body from last year….again, 2 time consensus NPOY. Terrible take.
