On this episode of The Haunted Side, we're investigating the Donovan Mill a 129 year old gold and silver processing facility. The mill was in operation until 1959 and was left abandoned until 2014 when the Comstock Foundation here in Nevada purchased the property and began restorations. Almost immediately they started to experience paranormal activity.
With reports of a women committing suicide in the main office, to a man that sold his soul to the devil in order to provide for his family, this place is the most haunted location we've investigated yet.

This is the best paranormal evidence I've ever seen, those EVP's caught in the office room were easily A++ so clear and the same voices. And then that chair, I jumped out of my skin, no idea how to explain that. The ovilus responses were amazing as well, way more intelligent than others I've seen. Also, those damn frogs stopping... just amazing, you two have found more evidence than any travel channel show in just 40 minutes!

When the chair moved, my wife made a point that if the woman who committed suicide hung herself, that is exactly how the chair would have moved when she jumped, stepped off, however you want to put it. This is by far the best one to date!

lol, I guess you got to make money some how. I guess lying and setting up little stunts like this is one way to do it. Just think about this. If this is real and ghost not only exist, but can move things. Things would be moving by themselves all the time, but for some reason. They only do this when “ghost hunters” visit some creepy mill at night. So stupid. I love how they try so hard with the different camera angles to proof they couldn’t move the chair. First, the angles don’t even show the whole chair. Even if it did. Do you not think they could still set something up? lol

I 100% believe the chair moving! I had an experience in El Salvador when I was around 8yrs old. I was sitting on a wooden chair in the living room and the chair I was sitting on got dragged with me on it a few feet. I remember running to my mom whom was outside in the patio, she came in and I will never forget this! She said out loud “if you have something to tell me, tell me in a dream don’t mess with my family”. Turns out a good friend of the family had gotten shot a day before and she believed it has his spirit. That’s just one of the many experiences I’ve had. Not too many here in the states but a lot more back in El Salvador. Love your videos, I just found your channel!

I love it when the camera catches those disembodied voices (like the “uh huh”@3:03). It’s so nuts how spirits can talk into the camera, & it’s usually only heard afterwards.. I’m always just really fascinated by that...the camera picking up things inaudible to you in the moment...And the FROGS STOPPED!! Oh my gads! Patrick! Sean! this is amazing! The little girl sound, the interference with the audio and killing of your mic. The scream out of nowhere! The silencing of the frogs! This literally is amazing work. Of course, I expect that from the two of you because of the amazing evidence you have captured before. That spirit box and the static cameras...you know how I like those. :) The chair! Wow! Also, I've started to get some more respect for the Ovilus....I'm still a bit on the fence on it, but I'm seeing more and more relevant evidence from it, but still see irrelevant as well. Maybe if they used a phonetic dictionary and not a word dictionary to me it may be more relevant...Does that make sense?

I tried something similar to the ovilus. I was not able to get it to work for me. It is good to see that it works for other people. I guess everyone is a little different. 😊

From what I understand, though I'm not an expert, each tool works differently for each investigator and with each spirit. It apparently takes a lot of energy for a spirit to use a spirit box or an ovilus, even more than a K-2 meter. I don't know how to quantify that energy as it may be different for each one. We just don't know. I've also been told it is a matter of getting used to the tools you're using. I can understand that as it is true in other parts of life so it makes sense to me.

I just started watching you guys recently and saw your Final Chapter episodes for this location. Your videos are amazing and feels very professional. I got to the second part of the Final Chapter episodes and saw the scene where y’all sat in the office. I FREAKED out because I remember seeing that set up from a clip on Paranormal Caught On Camera!! I showed my mom because we love watching paranormal shows and investigations and she freaked out as well. Can’t wait to watch more of your videos!

This episode literally scared me so bad I can’t sleep 😬😬 that interaction over the spirit box was chilling. So clever how you removed the background static but it made it so creepy sounding. My husband makes fun of my ghost shows but I had to show him that clip because it was so compelling and he had no explanation. And the chair! That poor soul. I’m so sad for them. I hope they are at peace
