It’s not stupid tho as Salah had been in the PL with Chelsea at a young age and failed at his time their. He had to leave and it wasn’t till he was 25 till he came back and started to perform. Whilst Rooney was balling in the PL from the age of 16 when the league was tougher rougher and had a lot more competition It’s not comparable when you take into consideration the eye test. Rooney is a far better player overall and far more successful and just could play anywhere and scored goals Salah couldn’t dream of .
