The sun peeks up at the horizon - orange and pink streaks mixing with the still-dark purple sky of the quickly vanishing night. The beach is totally empty, save a few nimble skimmers, stalking the shallow waves for an easy breakfast. I glance down the beach to my left, her trail of footprints leading off into the distance - she left at some point during the night, I assume. The salty water is tinged a burnt orange in one long stripe where the sun’s rays are spreading, the rest of the waves still tossing about a deep grey color. An occasional dolphin fin appears for a moment, then quickly vanishes. I glance at the whiskey bottle resting at my feet, trying to remember the blurred night. Did we walk on the shore all night, stopping here to rest? I shake a few drops of sweat off my forehead, unable to grasp a memory. Her footprints are straight, purposeful - no wavering as she trekked down the night beach. I wipe my hair out of my eyes and admire the glow on the surface of the water in front of me, warmth spreading over the tossing waves. I crane my neck across the sand, squinting to the still grey distance. A tiny figure - smoothly striding towards me, graceful movement - I imagine I can see her hair gently tossed in a beach breeze. I exhale, squint at the pink-tinged waves, and dig my feet into the warming sand. Cheers, Don.

Isn't it strange that so many people hear and feel the harmonica. I mean, the guitar and piano also give balance but, the harmonica really does dig deep inside the soul. Just love it. @@NirvanasHoles Hi haven't bought the harmonica yet but I most certainly will because, it's just about driving me crazy not having one. In my heart I can play it already, but the truth is, I bet I won't be able to play a note. I have got a few bamboo flutes/pan flutes which likewise, I can't play, but hey, no harm in trying. Perhaps I'm just not supposed to know. Actually, I make wind chimes and mobiles from bamboo and all kind of natural/nature things. Just love the deeper sounds, hence in Blues, nice deep velvety voice is so appealing. I simply love and adore Blues and l listen every day. Perhaps, when I get my harmonica, I'll shock everybody, myself included and produce a very unique sound unheard of before (ha ha). We will see. Meantime friend, many thanks for your interest, kind words of wisdom and best wishes.
