I hear and agree with you Reeeee. I am still in shock that it is gone :( It was most favorite show out there. I watch it over and over on Netflix but them killing off Q was a horrible mistake. Now they have seen that I am sure. Can't kill off a main and expect ratings to not go down especially after news of him not returning leaked before S5 came out. But we all still watched to see if they would change their minds. I would even accept a new cast/spin off. I love the show and books.

@@joereneau9640 im sorry but i think them killing off q wasnt a horrible mistake....... I dont think everyone is capable of seeing what i saw tho...... Quentin i see in each of the fans of the show. I see us all struggling, some to the same extent of his suicidal tendencies. I also saw how everyone else reacted to him, from season 1-4, the same way we tend to be reacted to. In the beginning he was just some die hard fan of a book series, like how we are apart of our fandoms. The others thought of him as dorky, geeky, i mean they all tell him how they dont think hes special, he constantly tho keeps coming back and they dont understand why. As the show progresses tho quentin is always needed, always the one they'd go to, because quentin every single time proves to them that he'll be there. When they go to the veil to throw the brother and sister in, quentin had quick thinking, thinking all the way back to why his "discipline" is minor mendings...... (personally i think that was lie, and that myakofsky was just fucking with him maybe thinking he'll tell him at a different time) But in that moment the mirror is shattered, but quentin knows hed be able to minor mend that mirror, throw the jar in, and that alice and penny would be safe, because in that moment he was more concerned on doing what they were there to do. Also being the one to help everyone is tiring and draining so in that moment quentin is able to take the chaos as his own exit. Quentin asking about his death, if it was him truly saving everyone and dying in the process or if he truly wanted to kill himself and found the successful way..... Penny showing him everyone's reaction, thats what made quentins death mean something not only to everyone else but to quentin. Because even in the afterlife, quentin couldn't take the praise, the win. Quentin suffered from imposter syndrome the whole show, and penny really got through to him that, no you didnt wanna leave this, you really wanted to save them, you changed them......................... without pain there is no magic.... which is julia got hers back.

@@gregkava1276 absolutely beautiful explanation and thank you for your insight. I am straight but what him and Eliott had was something rare and you actually felt it. It is rare to find something like that and most of us long for it. He had it with him AND Alice. The whole thing was just beautiful imo. I just didn't want it to end as most didn't. The hardest part for me was the reality that after all Q went through to save E, he never got to say goodbye. So El carries that burden and you actually feel it too. I just miss it and the feeling of that complete circle of friends. Q want really the main. They all were.

Lost my shit when this episode aired the song alone brings up way too much and then add the context of eliot q alice and all thats happened i broke hard i still cant watch this episode divine intervention was the only reason i existed to even know this show existed years later ... it hurts too fucking much and this song always brings up so much why the hell did they have to kill off q and why did eliot have to turn away from q god that episode hurt as well ... love this show but man too many thing hit way to close
