I had to watch all your videos to get the required answers. But in the end, it was totally worth it. Thank you very much, Sir. I just have one doubt. When we are off duty that means we are on holidays, are those leaves paid leaves or unpaid leaves? Like, we are on holiday for at least 2-3 months depending upon the time we served on a particular ship. Do we get any salary during our holidays or its just unpaid leave? please do reply, sir. I really need your guidance regarding this. I am waiting for your reply.

Most companies no salary on leave. This is because each sailing is a contract for 6-9 months. Even if there is a company pays you on leave; they take part of your salary and pay you the amount on leave.

But don't think you go to a hotel to stay. You still stay on board the ship and quite likely never will go out. There's a lot more work at ports, minimum 12 hrs and quite likely 18 hrs.

Sir I have 2 question please answer both of them Q1. Is Merchant Navy A permanent job ? Q2. Once the “X” term period is over, the company is not liable to provide you with another job/contract. Is you're required to look for a new company once your contract is over ?

Sir I just got a call from a no. And there a women says that I can join merchent navy. I will have clear one online exam based on 10Th syllabus. And after that I will councelling and then my medical.after that a 6 month on- deck training. After that 11 mont on board training with 25000 salary. After that I will get licence from govt. U missed a major pros Unlike shore job our head (senior) keeping changing so if ur ideology or views don't align with him no problem u will just have to be with him for 4-5 months not like shore where either u have to resign or wait for ur senior to change the company 😂😂 I found this one quite interesting 😁
