@@kaero3132 Have you tried optimizing it? It's strength lies in the fact that both charge attacks and AoW can be boosted with consecutive attack buffs. Also don't forget about the fact that it's semicorporeal (bye bye, fingerprint/moore users).

for the people that got a 3rd map dw you don't need to do it you just have to keep talking to him until there's no dialogue options left then you can reset and he will be gone. Hopefully this helps for the people that are stuck

I've used Mohg's Shackle near a sealed spirit spring trying to find hidden walls and I accidentally unsealed the spring, guess that works too.

Just after getting the Occult Eye is a sealed spirit spring to the right of where the Ghostflame Dragon is, it leads to the top of the mountain between the fort and the dragon. There is a grace, a Miquella's cross and a Scadutree fragment. And just wondering, does this skip break any other questlines that come before it?

Great guide, but I expected so much more from this katana. Fully upgraded and 80 Dex and the damage is so low I'm wondering if I'm even hitting the enemy. It feels like a starter weapon against a boss. I must be missing something.

You can destroy the rock nearby with mohg and margit Shackles! I haven't seen anyone mentionning it, but you can destroy most rock by just using the shackle

Maybe its too late, but this is what I did: There is a normal curved wing sword insignia talisman, which you cant equip if the rotten one is equipped. BUT you cannequip it if milicent prothesis is. So I recommend you getting millicent prothesis and normal winged sword insignia talismans for this run, and if you ever do a NG+ try getting rotten one and replace normal for rotten (since rotten better, but first run is better to have both milicent prothesis and normal insignia instead of only rotten) understood? Also you can just ask in official discord if someone got a rotten insignia talisman to spare and maybe you get lucky

Came for the sword, stayed for the lore. My god fuck the katana, the lore featured in this questline is some of the best I've ever seen. FromSoft outdone themselves i don't even know how but it fucking happened. This DLC is the peak of what fromsoft produced. With this, Elden Ring pretty much cements itself as the best rpg game of all time ion even care.

@@syrobe at the bottom of the second spring there is a rock formation with a transparent rock in the center. Once you destroy that the second spring gets like full power or something and you can use it normally. Still love the video. Just got the katana myself

For those wondering how to reset after the second finger bell, go into the dialogue options with the old codger and ask about the nature of the world, then go to the grace. After that, he should be gone.

The first ruins map will lead you to the Finger Ruins of Rhia to the South. To get here you must have access to the Cerulean Coast area, and then follow the Southeast beach until you find a giant coffin that you can climb over to enter the Finger Ruins.
