Good video for anyone to watch whatever your market or industry is there is a sweet spot to be in so go out and talk to guys who know what's going on before committing to something. Do your research and think/ plan ahead. Get something that's able to set you up for the future not something that you can get by with now.

Awesome video. I just started this year on a F550 I picked up from BTDT and its been a great starter truck. 36” hook and can run 12’ with 2’ overhang. I'm now in the market for an M2 or a Pete 536 with adjustable hook so I can run 12’ - 16’. #littlejunkers

When I finally start my trash business, I'm going to start small and work my way to the big gun. In my area, I can drive a 33000 lb truck without a cdl. I live in British Columbia. A 26000lb truck would be a waste of money for me. You only need a cdl for 3 or more axles. My sizes would be 19500, 25000, 33000, 60000, and 72000 lb trucks. The 60000 and 72000 lb trucks will be equipped to tow trailers, so I can do multi can runs.

That sounds like a great plan. Its always good to go in with a dedicated layout for how to succeed. That is very interesting about the CDL in the BC. We would love to set up our first customer in British Columbia!

I want someone local to me who knows my local regulations. But I can learn a lot from you guys on how to spec trucks.

@@Thexravenxx We dont often go for the AWD trucks simply because its not needed in most applications. 33K trucks are a great option though if you already have a CDL!

We always go by the CA here! Yes we try to stick with the 3000 series so you have the live PTO!
