In Electrical Engineering, Calculus (Integration) is used to determine the exact length of power cable needed to connect two substations, which are miles away from each other. what this means ❓❓❓ we require the cables which shows total length of distance between them 😃😃😃😃😃

For those who don't get 4:29 simplification. 2x + (2+x)x + (2+2x)x + ... + (2+(n - 1)x)x) x( 2 + (2+x) + (2+2x) + ... + (2+(n - 1)x) ) x( 2 + 2 + x + 2 + 2x + ... + 2+(n - 1)x ) there are 'n' times of terms. So there are 'n' times of 2s So we can get additions of all 2s as '2n' x(2n + x + 2x + ... + (n - 1)x) x(2n + x(1 + 2 + ... + (n-1) ) ) 2nx + x^2 (1 + 2 + ... + (n-1) ) 2nx + (1 + 2 + ... + (n-1))x^2

@sakshamtyagi6527
@sakshamtyagi6527 4 жыл бұрын
Yes both will work because when n tends to infinity, ∆x will approach 0. It will make no difference in the answer because adding or subracting 0 from any number gives the number itself in both cases.

4:05, Δx=4/n so n(Δx) = 4, how can you write f(2+(n-1)Δx)
@mohitoshdeb6579
@mohitoshdeb6579 4 жыл бұрын
it's because it's just the previous point of nth division, f(2+ndx)=6 which is the upper limit height for the nth rectangle f(2+(n-1)dx) is the height of lower limit for nth rectangle.

How 4/n is the width of the subinterval?
@swayamjha3988
@swayamjha3988 5 жыл бұрын
4n not always woulf be the width of sub interval. Actually, xn(which is last x coordinate of the shape you decided to find area) and x0(which is first x coordinate of the shape) and xn-x0/n gives width of sub interval Hope you understand:)

Can you give the steps that how from Sn=2n( 4 /n )+ n(n-1) /2 ( 4 n )^ 2 you got Sn=16-8/n
@deepakbellur9676
@deepakbellur9676 3 жыл бұрын
The boundaries of the curve under consideration is between 2 and 6 i.e. (6-2)=4 And this 4 is divided into 'n' parts to get each dx. Therefore dx=4/n Once you understand this, the rest can be got by simple algebraic multiplication and cancelling.
