The general and most important application of derivative is to find the Rate of Change of a Quantity. For example, to check the rate of change of the volume of a cube with respect to its decreasing sides, we can use the derivative form as dy/dx. Where dy represents the rate of change of volume of cube and dx represents the change of sides cube. I'm from humanities stream, but I wanted to understand calculus and for sure it told me the way to hold on to this bizarre but but beautiful aspect of mathematics. Calculus is the language of practical mathematical problems. I heartily thank for your contribution. 💫🍃

A vertical line doesn't have a slope because it doesn't have an x-value. Slope tells us how y changes when x changes, but with a vertical line, there is no change in x, so we can't determine how y changes. Therefore, the slope of a vertical line is undefined.

For vertical line, Change in x=0, Change in y =R(any real number) Hence, for same change in x,there are different possible changes in y(undefined change) Therefore,It's slope is undefined But,as the horizontal line tends to be a vertical line(rotates),its slope approaches infinity.

The slope of the Vertical must be Undefined/Infinite because when we divide it the denominator is zero And also thank you for making these videos. I am currently studying in class 11th and in Physics third chapter there is use of some derivatives. There was not much written about it there so I searched it out of curiosity and yours is the only one which made me understand :D

Your videos are very nice and useful. In short, clear cut to the senses. May I request you something...? Please try to finish a topic completely in a subject and then upload another video of another subject cause there's much gap in uploading between 2 consecutive videos of the same topic. Eg : complete the topic of differentiation first and then go to biology, but not to make us wait much plzzz. I'm much interested in integrations now, awaiting for the continuation of the revolving of the surfaces in the previous video. Plz try to upload it soon. Thank you 😊

My question if delta x = h then f(h) would be different from simple delta x because in the first case we are solving some equation f(h). So if we give some value to h (or delta x) then f(h) is not equal to h unless f(x) = x. in that case delta x = delta x or in other words h = h
