Awesome that Jen's research got pointed out. Also I like what you guys did with Kevin where you kept talking after the sauna to get more questions in, maybe make that a main component in the future?

Andrei and team: here’s an immediate difference in your podcast that makes it better than some others in the space: - conversational format not interview style - the research you did to know Max before really adds to the depth - of course the sauna 😂

The problem with the sour candy industry is changing ingredients all of the sudden and not making it the same. I loved trolli sour gummy worms but they changed something about the gummy worms years ago and they're just not the same anymore and it's so disappointing. That is so awesome that he got target and Walmart reaching out to him. Good job man.

This is a great format Jen and Andrei! I thoroughly enjoyed it. Also kudos to Maxx for noticing what people were pointing out after his Don't Be Sour interview with Mona, that she should be some VP of Operations or something similar vs just an Office Manager. It's great to see how much Maxx cares for his team, his companies, and his viewers.

awesome podcast! moral of the story is you gotta be obsessed with what you do and you'll likely be successful overtime - like who would think about the consumer experience related to how candy is packaged, and who'd think that they'd be able to compete with giants in the space as a result of it? lots of props to Maxx

Andre, the comment regarding taking investment losses was somewhat vague or potentially misleading. If you take 20k in losses you can claim all 20k, but only 3k per year. The rest gets carried forward. Enjoy all three shows. Well, three when MM returns. 😊

Wow so question for people that do sponsorships. If Maxx does an ad for $8000, how much money does that typically bring in for a company? Like, how much mattresses do they really sell from paying that much lol
@SpudBro12 жыл бұрын
Reason why views are lower on youtube now is that there are too many ads..2 ads before the video often non skippable.., usually 2 or 3 double ads again sometime non skippable. So on average a to view a 10 min video, users will get 4 double ads. Now add to that if you have your own sponsor and take 2 min mid video to plug your sponsor… We all get that this is how people on youtube and other online streaming platform make money, but the experience is not what it used to be. often myself and i see others too, start a video and can’t skip the ad so i just not watch it.. we all moved away from traditional media partly because a 30 min show was in fact 17min with 2 ad breaks.. think we are now recreating the same thing because platform and creators are heading the same way as before.

I will definitely pay more money for a better product. If I am going to splurge calories I want it to be the most enjoyable. I love chocolate but I can have poor quality chocolate sitting right in front of me and I won't touch it because I'm not eating the chocolate just to eat the chocolate I'm eating the chocolate because I genuinely enjoy it but if it's not good chocolate then I don't enjoy it. I will spend more money to get the better chocolate. Same goes with sour candies. If the brand just isn't that good I won't touch it. If you have a bag for a dollar that's not that great and it's sitting next to a $4 bag with a much higher quality and better taste I will grab the $4 back no problem and without hesitation.
