Managing money is different from accumulating wealth, and the lack of investment education in schools may explain why people struggle to maintain their financial gains. The examples you provided are relevant, and I personally benefited from the market crisis, as I embrace challenging times while others tend to avoid them. Well, at least my advisor does too, jokingly.

It’s also not as difficult as some people claim it is. People who lack managerial, leadership or financial skills always find it difficult but business requires a little bit of both or at least the willingness to learn. Anyone who lacks the ability to communicate their objectives or manage, will have to hire a manager but even that will require communicating objectives. Delegation is also an important aspect. 9-5 jobs are difficult for people who are not easy going. And business is even more difficult for such people. Business is always difficult, for people who jump in without knowing what they’re doing, can’t tap into the mindset of their customer, want to micro manage and do not want to learn. Their setbacks do not stem from business but their personality type.

My sister and her husband had a dream/goal and followed it. It took them several years to complete it with hard work, dedication and desire. They didn’t think should I start, they laid out their plan and took action. I am so proud of my sister. My mother told her she wouldn’t make anything of herself. She was so wrong! Mom was worried about her. I finally had to explain to her how rich her daughter had become. Mom was so clueless! Mom and dad; however, were hard workers and taught her daughters well. Sis and husband travel all over the world now and enjoy what they created. A legacy that they have passed on to their daughter. Who now runs the place and brings in her new ideas. It< makes sense, BTC and crypto is off helping to regulate, rather than pretend it won't ever happen. The big institutions getting in is the catalyst that will launch us into the stratosphere. Most people don't like change but after the change is made they grow used to it and it becomes a non issue usually because their fears never materialize. The projects that initiated the process of regulation have not been ruined, they got involved in setting guidelines and helping the regulators understand the crypto space. I’d get involved more knowing that I have made over 7 btc and 15ETH from day-trade with VERMONTCORPLTD Crypto in few weeks

She says she loves the fact she is running her own business because she gets to spend a lot more time with her family/children (while at the same time mentioning for years she had worked 60-70hr/week on her business and recently started working "only" 50-55hr/week). That means she gave to the business 10-11 hours per day 6 days per week over the first few years and recently 8-9 hr/day 6 days a week. So I'm not really sure how that equates to "spending a lot more time with her family". Same as for 99.9% of entrepreneurs it seems her family/kids are the last ones on her list of priorities.

A lot of entrepreneurs often work from home even if they go to the office/warehouse for some hours on some days. So they get to be around their kids a lot and can also also take them out on vacations, short trips and do more activities with them when they are off. Unlike with a job most women or men come home exhausted and barely spend anytime with the family.

The plot thickens in this story, though. The couple left their jobs with only $10k in savings to run the business. They did $4 million in sales in the first year - a product business. Where did the rest of the money come from to fulfill $4 million worth of orders because only $10k seems a bit low to meet that volume of sales. I would want to know where the rest of the money came from because that's the real story and the real lesson. I get the sense this is not so much of a bootstrap success story as it is being presented. Nevertheless, congratulations.

Here is the case in point: let's say they were selling lollipops for $1 each and they sold 4 million of them in 1 year.. If each lollipop cost 10 cents to produce, they would need $400,000 just to produce the lollipops, in 1 year, and that's not even including the cost to ship them where they need to go. According to their BS bootsrap story, they only had $10,000! Yeah, they just used the proceeds of their profit and they just decided not to pay their living expenses or feed their children.

I wonder why she left out that they sold the company to an investment firm last December? I guess it doesn’t fit the brand image?

Some people build a business with the end in mind. They have an exit/sell plan. That is normal for most business people who are looking to create assets and build wealth.

Same here. I’m not prepared to use my energy on the hustle and happy to have lot of spare time to live after work and on weekends. It’s lovely to be stress free.

Last week, Warren Buffett talked in BBC news about how investors and traders can make millions through Crypto. He also recommended an expert Mrs Katherine Stellar. Wondering if any viewers here are familiar with her services?

Investing or trading with an expert is the best strategy for newbies and busy investors who have little or no time to monitor their trades.... I will advice you to stop trading on your own it’s very risky. Seek advice of a professional trader.

I'm honestly surprised that this name Mrs Katherine Stellar is being mentioned here, I stumbled upon one of her clients testimony last week in CNBC news, she seem to be doing extremely well

Maybe they convinced someone that they would pay a loan back. Or if they got a loan from a cousin, maybe there was no need to do any convincing.

How did they go from selling random items on eBay to deciding to own an online clothing store? Why clothing vs other items? I wish there was a bit more info on that in the video.

So many details missing from the video. The early numbers they achieved are actually way more impressive but there’s so little info on what they were selling.
