@@themadmachinist8637 I know, I tried it but Autodesk's business model is prohibitive for the average amateur maker. In Europe the smallest license is like $600 / year. old f1 engines used to do about 20,000rpm. they rev lower these days because they can make power at lower revs thanks to the turbo. also, they only have a set number of engines to last a full season, so dont stress them like they used to. i think the regulations cap the rpm to 15,000, but this is rarely if ever reached

@Vincent James VoiceI mean you could argue the 0-60 point regarding any fast car, if your spending the majority of time in traffic why not drive anything else but a prius to save money on gas. But if your just doing highway pulls I honestly can see why and EV is unappealing considering your just driving in a straight line. In that case yeah the sound is half the experience as otherwise it's a pretty mindless way of driving "fast". (I'm not saying that's what you may do, but it's a majority of people's idea of going "fast")

It isnt going anywhere soon. Its going to be around for many more years. Electric vehicles are not the clean, renewable, or as green as people want you to believe. There are serious issues with the safety and toxicity of the materials used to make them.. also untill everyone switches to truly clean power generation then its just trading one polluter for another potentially worse poluter.
