I knocked out a dude (18-21) assaulting a young guy (14-16), and when the cops showed up, we all got cuffed until the sheriff’s figured out what actually happened. They got witness statements, video footage, and they let me go. Was I happy to be cuffed? No, but I don’t blame them for securing the scene until a relevant picture of the incident could be painted out via evidence.

This same thing happened to me when I was a teenager. (I’m a white red head) There was a fight at a gas station and someone wrongfully reported a gun being involved. We were pulled over and walked back to the cars, just like this, and sat in the car until it was sorted out. We released shortly after. You missed the most important part of this video: CONTEXT. The police only did their job with the information given to them. They didn't harm anyone and only tried to keep people safe, which the people screaming on the sidewalk made alot harder to do by causing alot of noice and disturbance. I really can't see how this is the fault of the officers. And btw you know what cops do right? Enforcing the law and yes, if someone is a suspect they get put in a cell untill they know what actually happend, now how is that a crime? You are saying that catching a suspect and detaining/putting them under arest is the same as a normal guy just putting someone in cuffs and kidnapping them?
