I say draw a small line on the corner of either a good title or bad one an see if you can remove it then go for the bigstuff. I wish someome would varify this already

Bro! I took over my sons motorcycle because he couldn't afford the payments anymore. I paid bike off and got title from the lien holder. I was in the process of selling bike but noticed my son signed the title in all the wrong spots and thought I was going to waste alot of time at DMV. I used your video and it worked in 30 seconds. Just as an FYI, you can use brake fluid as well. Just let it soak in until it is gone. No scrubbing necessary. Then when you are done set it flat in cat litter for a few days to fully dry out.

I think there is a type of ink pen that cannot be acetone-affected. I tried this method but after soaking for close to 5 minutes, the ballpoint ink that the first seller's signature was in had began to disappear within the first minute or so, but the hard blue ink used by the dealership didn't even fade. But this will probably work for a lot of people, I wonder if there is a type of ink that dealers now have in order to stomp this method?

91% Alcohol works same way. ink lifts off in seconds and just have to shake it a lil but didn't need to scrub at all no fading....

Go for a test run. It varies depending on the age and ink. But for the most part, it will all fade slightly but still be acceptable. For more control, use a Q-tip

Damn bro, coming in clutch. Gonna try this tomorrow. I didn't notice it when I bought this 4runner to fix, but dumb B signed her name on the top of title where new owner is supposed to sign. I got it from someone else of course, so hopes of getting it "legally" right are slim to absolutely not possible. Was ready to sell it for parts, but figured somebody would have been through this and found a way to overcome . Edit: I tried it, the ink would not come off no matter how hard i scrubbed . Even let it sit for a good bit. I guess some types of ink aren't able to be erased. Another edit: I called dmv to find out how I could obtain a bonded title. She told me if I still had orginal title, I could scratch out wrong name and put mine below it. Took it in faded like a mfer from this "trick". Wadded it up in a ball to crinkle it and make it look aged. She handed me the pen and told me to sign and pay. Didnt even bat an eye
