I watched your short on making these noodles a while ago and they've since become a staple comfort food. I usually prepare the oil first and then fry the egg while cooking the noodles, that way everything is done at about the same time and I don't have the noodles cool down for too long

I must confess...I've never been so jealous of a bowl of ramen in my life. 😂 And thank you, Tina, THANK YOU for saying what we all know to be true: That nobody, not even the health nuts, actually like healthy food even if they say they do. Even healthy food with a good flavor can't compare to anything with an excess of salt, fat, and/or sugar.
@LazoGT Жыл бұрын
there's only one healthy thing i genuinely love over a lot of non-healthy things, and that's... salad with broccoli. i don't care how you make it, anything with broccoli is amazing
@aliceshtewi6280 Жыл бұрын
Tbh I really like healthy food and I hate oily fried food. That being said I LOVE chocolate, peanut butter, cake.. and I absolutely wouldn’t like to drink celery juice🤢 but eating healthy doesn’t mean only eating vegetables.. it can really be amazing flavorful food (and btw salt and spices are okay, It would be awful not to season your food)
@melialaa Жыл бұрын
Honestly I find the generalization of "no one likes healthy food" really patronising. Sure, it's true in the sense that we're all hardwired to like calorie-dense things. But people have such a wide range of preferences, and those who don't like _any_ healthy foods are very, very rare (atleast outside the US). It's alright to like the things that you like and give yourself a pass. You don't have to justify it by saying everyone with different preferences is lying 😒
@JustHereToWreck Жыл бұрын
@@melialaa shut up stop lying I can hear your unhealthy double chin from here
@yin-yi5189 Жыл бұрын
Er, I do? Not with all things, but I'd rather have veg/fruit for the t a s t e than chocolate, which I dislike. Of course there's unhealthy things which I like, but you should accept that people won't always like the unhealthy food better tastewise.

I got diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes 2 months ago. I ain’t gonna lie I had to stop watching your videos for a good minute because everything you made or ate was difficult for me lol. I am not going to say that I love how diet food tastes but I learned to embrace improving my health and not give in to those urges. Your example is a bit extreme as I have not once ate celery. The possibility of losing toes really disciplined those urges and changed my whole relationship with food. Can’t eat past 8pm at the latest, low to no carb foods, smaller portion size of foods I can have, no sugar and limit salt intake. Lost 20 lbs. since my health journey began. If i manage to lose another 30 lbs I have a possibility of getting off of meds and reversing this nasty disease. Wish me luck! Oh and I am still a fan of your content. 👍🏼
