Doodle Bug Mini Bike 212cc | One Day Build!

Today we built a Doodle Bug Mini Bike in the VW Fabworks Garage! We don't always work on Volkswagens. Sometimes we get away from working on the Bus or Bug and have a little fun working on a side project like a Doodle Bug Mini Bike.

I bought 2 old ones from my step dad for 50 bucks each and got them both running for around 20 bucks. Soon they will both be swapped out for bigger motors but I'm happy with them for now. I would go find one

did my set up with a spring tensioner off the back side of the torque converter cover and it works well. NO SLOPPY CHAIN.

Nice mini bike but I love the green bus.

I run mine on a clutch and it breaks traction after it peaks on the power curve! All I did was a Predator 212, NR racing plate and a tensioner.

What Fun! Just got a Doodlebug in a trade, fixed it up and took it for a ride. But I can't believe you didn't have a seat, that must have paddled your bottoms and cracked your locknuts. Great build. Just subscribed. Thanks

@@RobStapleton The one I just got was faded red, aka pink, so I camouflaged it up, and fixed up the original motor. Redid the plastic fenders, looks great. Even at only 97 cc, it will move my 185 lbs around at about 25 mph. I can't imagine having the predator 212cc on it. Thanks again.
