I'm absolutely in love with Steph's linework! On the digital and traditional artwork, I always prefer the cleaner look of my digital art, but I really love the different textures and less polished look of my traditional work as well. They both accomplish such different things, its hard to choose haha

I’ve been binge watching doodle date videos for a while now (Ey I just subscribed during December last year) I love the positive and creative vibe you guys give from your videos. I’ve been thinking how it’s been kind of hard for me to really really have fun when creating art nowadays. Since now I’m being more critical with my art than I used to. OMG, I find myself trying to zoom in on my traditional art all the time! Mainly because my eyesight sucks and I can’t afford to get glasses right now. I have reading glasses, but they all either don’t magnify enough or they magnify so much they make my vision completely blurry. There’s no in between.

although I really like doing digital art, I find that it's harder to achieve a good result than traditionally. I just have considerably less control because I'm doing it with my finger, on a phone. it means you can't do smooth long strokes, simply because there isn't room, and it's really hard to try and match up a bunch of segments. on the other hand I'm way more likely to do digital art than traditional art, because very often my ideas are based around color and I can get the exact ones to use unrefinedly with my phone, as opposed to traditional where colour isn't really workable and is a huge commitment. The benefit of colour, traditionally, is things like water colour, pencil crayons or even just sketching where you're able to blend hues and values smoothly. They're both fun though! I'd love to see you redraw each others old art and I also think the ohuhu Steph pointed to was closest to the nice waitress's hair.
