You can cut the shape first! It only sticks the glue on whatever paper is there, in whatever shape it is!! (It would make it easier to peel too)

There’s also matte sticker paper, that you can draw on top of and cut out! It’s the size of copy paper and it works! Thats the only way I’ve ever known how to make my own stickers, but this is definitely a cuter, more multimedia way!

I have a tiny one of these that’s a translucent purple X. It’s really fun and you can get refills of regular sticker glue AND repositionable sticker glue!

MelissaGo. There's a special Plastic thingy that basically just holds the two rolls of sticky and paper stuff- the bottom layer has the sticky, the piece of paper you want to make into a sticker is in the middle and the top gets pressed to pick up all the sticky part when you take it off. Leaving a stickerrr 😳Hope I helped

I'm from Idaho in the US, and the potato business is reaaally big here because of the ideal growing conditions so I can say with absolute confidence that the spot that the little bobbly bit that grows out of potatoes grow out of the eyes of the potato, or the dark indentions on the potato. Fun Fact: Idaho is real about its potato game. I kid you not, we have a government agency called the "Idaho Potato Commission" that is in charge of potato stuff, an "Idaho Potato Museum and Potato Station Cafe", a marathon themed around our potatoes, and only potatoes grown in Idaho can be called Idaho® potatoes because Idaho® potato(es) is licenced an trademarked so nobody else can use it but us (one thing that is cool to see is during potato harvesting season you can see giant trucks full of potatoes and sugar beet drive down the roads and highways, and you can see potatoes all along the roads where they fell out of the truck, it's a neat sight). In conclusion, Idaho is really serious 'bout it's potato game, and it's actually pretty scary

I love xyron! I have 3 different sizes. You don't have to cut them out how you want before hand. They don't have to be in squares. Makes so much easier to take off.

I love this machine!I I use it all the time! and it's smaller mini version too!! If you guys are having a hard time cutting the stickers out after putting them in the machine...don't be afraid to cut them out and then put them through! I pre cut all of mine and add them in the feed area with a a half turn between and end up with an old school roll of ready to peel stickers! makes them way easier to peel up and no tearing them! Hope that tip helps! From one sticker over to another! :)

You can cut out the design and out it through, then just peel it from the backing. This also allows you to put more in there close together to use more of the sticker paper. Hope that makes sense. So much fun watching you explore this gadget.

I've made stickers before I covered my chemistry folder with them but I just used some dubble sided tape and stuck some normal paper on it then I did my design and coloured it. After that I sealed it with see through tape to give it a glossy look and to water proof it. Thats it just cut around it and stick it on. I ve made stikers and magnets that way. So simple yet so fun.

Your next sticker maker should be a cricut explorer air 2! You can make awesome vinyl stickers, magnets, temporary tatoos, and printable fabric patches. mwahahahahahahha. I'm in love with mine. It does all the cutting for you. I used to have one of the xyron makers and got tired of having to cut my stickers out.

I love your stickers! I've heard others talk about having a Xyron sticker maker but haven't actually seen one in use. The potential here is endless! Think I'm going to put one on my wish list. Hope you guys do more with this. And just in case no one's answered you re the eyes on a potato, they are called eyes (at least in the USA) which is where the potato can sprout more potatoes from. :)

I have that sticker maker too!! I’ve had it for quite awhile and you can actually cut out your design beforehand because it only puts the glue on the back of whatever you put in I’m pretty sure. But maybe for intricate designs like Adams you might still want to cut it out afterwards.

You guys are awesome!! Just letting you know, you can trim it before you put the sticker through that way the backing paper is easier to pull off..... Also the way it works is the backing paper has the sticky stuff on it and the paper picks up the sticky stuff, while a plastic film (inside the xyron) picks up the sticky stuff around it. In smaller ones, the film while stay on and you have to peel it off yourself.

Also the reason the sticky is so strong is because the xyron comes with permanent adhesive, but you can get a temporary sticky refill

I have this same sticker maker and if you want them to be more water proof or shiny then you can cover them in clear tape before taking off the backing! They also have different types of sticker sheets like temporary stickers that you can remove without damage
