A little known fact of Sir Christopher Lee is that he was first offered the role of Tarkin but refused. And when he was offered the role of Dooku he took it saying that he "wouldn't make the same mistake again". But the most interesting thing was that his Best Friend was Peter Cushing.

That's such a neat tribute to Christopher Lee! His role in Dracula was in fact how I was introduced to him (I was about 8 when I first saw him and now I'm 29). In some behind the scenes footage of filming Attack of the Clones, during the lightsaber battle with Dooku and Yoda, someone put paper vampire fangs on the Yoda puppet as a prank on Lee. Lee took it well, he just smirked and said, "I didn't think you'd do this to me, George, I honestly didn't." But I think he thought it was funny because they all had a good laugh about it. LOL I saw the first Christopher Lee's Dracula movie last Halloween, and had a lot of fun watching it. I also liked that he was opposite Peter Cushing/Tarkin, and they were best friends in real life. You can see both of them in home videos during their last meeting before Peter died, and those two were just the most adorable best friends I've ever seen in my life. :D Not to mention, they were hilarious!

Disney is literally ripping off of the Rakghoul Plague in Legends bro. A single Rakghoul infection could turn an average world in the Old Republic into a ravenous legion of mutants. And like the FEV in Resident Evil, they could sometimes spark a dual or even triple mutation in the alchemical Sith Spawn disease when infected. Some of the Rakghoul could be the size of Ewoks (usually children), most were average sized (1.5-8m), a few could grow a third eye and be smarter and larger than their relatives (45 IQ/2.2m), the smartest ones were as smart, if not smart, than a human and could use the Force while exceeding average Rakghoul height by several inches (IQ 95-145). The very last Rakghoul type was the rarest of the mutants and it was the "Behemoth Strain". The poor souls that got infected with this would have an agonizing transformation as their bodied quadrupled over and over in mass until they reached a height of around 20m high. Yes, that's taller than some rancors. And when you factor in remnants of human ingenuity and regeneration, they could become the apex predators of an entire planet. I'm sorry of ranting guys but I really like the Rakghoul story and design and it really fucks me up when Disney tries to implement the same "Uninteresting/Confusing" concepts from Legends in their New Canon. Everything they make is almost a direct twisted version of something from Legends. You can't be a great hypocrite than if you steal another's idea and twist it to fit your own needs (profit).

That was a fun little story. Some people get testy when Star Wars isn't straight sci-fi (as if it ever was) when it integrates fantasy elements, but I enjoy it when it's done well. This was a fun one-off adventure story. RIP and Godspeed, sir Lee!

Christopher Lee was a hero of World War 2. He was in the RAF as an intelligence officer, and spent time in the Special Operations Executive, a forerunner of the SAS. A story I heard; when filming the Lord of the Rings trilogy, Peter Jackson was instructing an actor on how to use a knife. Mr Lee said words to the effect of "that is not how it is done" and demonstrated some of his knife training from Special Operations. Christopher Lee also had a step-cousin, Ian Fleming, Royal Navy intelligence officer and creator of James Bond.
