For clarification, this "mod" used models originally created for Generations Arena (c) Wirehead Studios, which were modified and ported into GZDoom without our permission. I created the pistol, shotgun, and chaingun in this video myself, back in the early 2000's. They're meant for use in Q3A, not Doom ports.

I absolutely love Generations Arena. Thanks for your work on that project. To me that was the first mod that needed to go commercial. It would have had universal Brutal Doom level appeal if more people were exposed to it.

The majority of these 3D models are ported from jdoom.

It could be. But the Models arent well made. And not sure how good models in gzdoom can be made. Doom 2016 has cacodemons which are not pokemons. And cacodemons and pinkies were always the most bad to me in gzdoom models. And I really liked the Duke 3D HRP 3D Models. These are an example that its possible to make proper 3D Models for old games

looks worse than the vanilla game. Because most of the models are bad. Zombies are ok, but the rest oof Motion Blur by just looking around is the biggest cancer already in new games :x I didnt buy an OLED where its pixel response time is excellent motion clarity just to add back motion blur artificially lol the worst is motion blur at just looking around. it looks to me like the engine is not able to stay sharp at movement

Voxel DOOM is so much better than this mod, and stays true to the original graphics. This mod somehow cheapens the graphics and makes everything look goofy and more cartoonish IMO.
