Thank you for a fine playthrough of AV, I've enjoyed it quite a bit - and your comments on the experience. I'm sorry about map30, wish we had more time and energy left in the bank to do what was originally intended, instead of my stock solution; it's certainly the most despised map in the set :) Great channel content overall sir! -Johnsen

Oh wow, thank you for commenting! I'm so glad you enjoyed the playthrough. Also, what was the original vision for Map 30? If I'm reading that right it seems like an IoS battle wasn't intended? I completely understand why you couldn't. I don't blame you guys at all for getting burnt out near the end. I imagine anyone would've.

i do want to ask if there was a planned sequel to alien vendetta?

@@thesoulingredient06 It was supposed to be a Kim Malde map, some kind of gothic cathedral thing on top of a cliff. My vision, but his execution. He really needed a break after map23 though, mapping for vanilla limits in old editors was quite the chore. We didn't get as far as to plan the gameplay of that one, just the visual setting - I have no doubt he would have come up with something clever though!

@@SF-TDW The thought was there a few times through the years, after co-author Kim Malde passed away I didn't want to do a sequel though - it would have to be something disconnected from AV if I put time into mapping again also (which might happen at some venture).

@andyjohnsentube Ah man, that's too bad. I understand why Malde got burnt out though. He put his all into his AV maps. I'm sure it would've been a great finale.

"Sign of Torment" looks to be an interesting WAD with ghostly walls, step-teleports and sometimes no background. Lirui1001 is currently playing it

Yeah enjoyed that. "point Dreadful" might be named after the Keanu Reeve & Patrick Swayze film "Point Break" or Lee Marvin & Angie Dickenson "Point Blank"
