tichondrius was the tactician, without him the legion would have failed, which they do because tichondrius dies leaving archimonde's helpless due to his own recklessness. had tichondrius still lived there would have likely been an alternative plan

@@BioShockisAWESOME yeah, thousands and thousands of them--and in lore wisps are spirits that have a decent amount of power, and since archimonde is summoned, it makes sense that, with archimonde unable to do ANYTHING, since he's absorbing the power of the tree, the wisps would be able to all close in and detonate on him. so it's not really a bad thing, just a SUPER fucking clever trap by malfurion

it wasnt really their spirits. their spirits had molded and the LK was both nerzhul and Arthas but what the Lich King had in his head was the dominant personalities fighting for control. the arthas aspect won out in the end.
