I think it's from this point on that Antares starts to really build up for the grand finale. You can *feel* it through the track used in this stage. The stronger antaresian are also a sign for this. The next 5 maps will be a blast, for sure.

This midi has no right going this hard considering it's from a (now defunct) obscure PvP 2d tank game 22:24 I can't believe this actually happened lmao (it actually happened to me too on this map) 24:30 There's some arrows on the floor pointing at the pillar Thinking about it, considering the splash damage of 128 (or I guess, let's say 110 to be conservative) on a direct hit, and the fact that the possible impact damage is {50,100,...400}, the hit itself only has to do 300 damage to kill you from 200 / 200, so that's like a 37.5% chance, quite high, actually I suppose that's balanced by the fact that there aren't that many cybers in this WAD

Yup! The Antares are also recolors of Heretic monsters. I love those games, so it always makes me happy to see them. :)

@@worldoffood123A lot in this Wad is inspired by Heretic / Hexen. I still have hopes that Microsoft unleashes the complete Serpent Rider Trilogy in the Kex Engine.

22:21 LOL, yikes! One shot at 200/200. 😅 I mean, sure, it feels cheap, but it was a pretty wide-open fight with room to dodge. And it was certainly a boss battle. So, not completely out of control. And certainly memorable!

You did really well. I don't think the weapon would have helped you with the super chaingunners unless you had swapped to it first before starting it. Otherwise, the weapon swap would have killed you 😅
