MAP25 was originally going to be a re-textured version of A Forlorn Outpost, MAP09 of DyingCamel's Demons #1. But I decided to design the level from scratch, but keep the overall progression and background music. Turned out it was one of the best decisions I made with doom mapping.

I don't know if you noticed it in editing, but you grabbed the Grenade Launcher right before you grabbed the first Berserk. I'm amazed you managed to clear the Yellow Key fight on your second try, and without the Leichenfaust. Well Done.

I love this level so much. Like I mentioned previously: I really like this style of level with sprawling geometry that has demons everywhere the more you run. It really turns the whole map into a puzzle and you wonder WHERE DO I EVEN GO??? The MIDI used is so lovely. It really raises the mystique provided by the visuals with the fact that you are nearing the end of the journey. This will be a theme going forward (well, until... a certain map, you'll see) and will just elevate this wad into legendary status. You wouldn't be the only one that didn't get the Leichenfaust before doing any of the fights in this map. I was also pretty terrible at finding the secrets in this wad, so yeah, leichenless it was for most of the time, but you managed to do pretty well, despite it all! From this point on, this wad will throw the most brutalizing of encounters. While it wasn't pulling punches before, now it'll really go full aggro on you. This was just the appetizer. To be honest, though? It's also the most memorable sequence of maps pretty much ever lol. They're really unique and display some gorgeous architecture that I'm sure you'll be able to enjoy... when you get the proper moments. Hope you are ready for what's to come.

Hi Vytaan, hope you doing fine? Have one question, do you like by the Revenants does they shoot 2 real Rockets or when they shoot the homeing Fireball Rockets and normal Fireballs? What to you find better? Nice Video again and have a great Day 🤣

I like the homing fireballs more because they change the gameplay and force you to move more often, but I think it's cool that Struggle changes it to two rockets that don't deal a massive 80 damage. So for this wad specifically it's fine, but I wouldn't want the double rockets permanently :D

The grenade launcher disappears under the HUD when you fire, so I always get annoyed thinking you're changing weapons at a horrible time. But no, that's just the animation. 😂

🔵🟦Very cool! I just realised that that everything they could make blue (a number of the enemies, almost all of the ammo pickups and their crates, the armor and health pickups and bonuses), they made blue. everything blends into what many consider to be the most relaxing color to look at. It's devilishly well done.🔵🟦
