To be fair, Doomguy suffers from more mental health issues than a fourteen year old with a nose ring, and the demons don't usually tend to survive their Doomguy encounters, so I don't think that first meme works.

Some demons actually did survive encounters with him, since the Slayer's Testaments were written based on demonic testimonies, so it does in fact work. But yeah, Doomguy is pretty laden with PTSD.

well i assume the 2016 preator suit was just the best choice for armor , cuz the short sleeve outfits were his marine uniforms and probably made partly out of advanced materials but it got damaged still but the preator suit didn't and couldn't. in eternal you can see that he took the 2016 suit apart and made the new suit without sleeves and other new changes too. So maybe the Doom Slayer found the 2016 suit too restricting as well

I just bought the game and played it for a few hours (the crazy part being that I started playing it on Exterminatus difficulty, might not sound that bad, but for me as a beginner in this game *it is bad*) expecting it to be a Doom spinoff. Instead I got the worst headache of all time figuratively and literally with how complex the maps is and how many loops and dead ends are in there (usually accompanied with supplies). Still a good buy for me though not because I'm a fanboy of the title, but because it reminds of Doom (esp. Doom 64, the first ever Doom title I played (thanks Epic Games))
