What's your favorite image from the video? And how do you take a break from the world? Thank you for watching and hopefully for commenting!

I don't have a favourite you captured so many nice images I cannot choose. To take a break I get out in to nature with my camera and my phone on silent so I do not get distracted from just relaxing ; )

Hey... Great video... The Bronica is my favorite film camera. I got mine in 2001 when I finished photography School. It was my dad's and he gifted it to me. I lived in Longview for about 10 years but moved back to Dallas... I knew I recognized your name when I just searched for any new Bronica videos on KZbin. Just subbed your channel. Looking forward to checking out more of your content. 🙏✌️

Awesome! Thank you! My Bronica is totally beat up, but it's still working perfectly. Glad you enjoyed the videos and subscribed, and thank you for the comment, as well!

The intro was perfection :) The colour on the cinestill shots is almost surprising, given it's daylight, but that Kodak 500T is one flexible stock.

Agreed! People forget that it's all a matter of white balance, and otherwise it's just a wonderful film stock. Definitely excited if QWD or someone else can start getting 250D out in 120 at vaguely affordable prices. And thank you! I'm having lots of fun with these shorts and intros. :)

THe world and all the things going on at the mo are insane, I get caught often tunneling in various rabbit holes looking for some sense, always always surface more confused than when I started digging. Awesome work guys great shoot and some lovely results. I drown my beloved workhorse ETRSi a few months ago, still genuinely gutted, I did have an old ETR body stashed away so last week took it out for a spin, realised pretty fast why I adore the ETR system. I love Ektar never tried cinestill, looks interesting. Keep shooting mate.

Thank you! I appreciate it. Sorry to hear about your ETRSi, though! I'm glad you have an ETR to use, at least. Just a delightful camera, for sure. I love shooting Cinestill at 400 in overcast. I appreciate the comment!

@@JamieMPhoto yeah the ETR feels the same a couple of quirks with it like the shutter button will not lock and the shutter still fires with the dark slide firmly fitted so I’ve wasted a few frame on misfires but I’ll get used to it. Cheers

Hey There! I like your video. Today, I stepped away from Facebook, Instagram, and news sites to get away from the doomscrolling for at least 7 days. Already deleted my Twitter account 2 months ago after 10 years. Right now, my concentrations are reading, drawing, playing electric guitar and reading its tutorials, editing videos (it's been a long time coming. lolz). My favorite photo from your vid: #14. Beautiful lighting!

Thank you! And that's a brilliant idea. I'm not really one who will abandon social media entirely, but a vacation from it is ultra healthy. Especially when there are so many healthy things to spend the concentration on. I need to do a little cleanup on a website, so that's probably a good place to start. ha ha. Thank you for watching and for the good comment!

I just discovered your channel, and you have great stuff! I own a Bronica ETRS as well! What lens did you use for the shoot?
@JamieMPhoto
@JamieMPhoto 3 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much! It has the standard 75mm on it. I’m strongly considering getting a wide lens for it, too.

Awesome, thank you! The new color adjustments in Lightroom are great, and I've been missing those a lot from Capture One. They help get much closer. This is a video about them, I think: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aHndhouIbbtgh9E&feature=emb_title

My favorites are (in order) 23, 22, 21 and 15. The bokeh and definition are awesome. I don't know how to explain it but the feel from medium format are quite different from 35 mm or digital. The model is superb and i love it her outfit. My only complain is about the film, looks good but maybe too much.. Cold? i dont know maybe it's because i prefer a look a little bit warm, like kodak gold. Anyway it's a very good video and very good photos. Cheers from México
@JamieMPhoto
@JamieMPhoto 3 жыл бұрын
Thank you! Yeah, I can see where the film went a little cool. I tend to prefer that, too, but I also post these before I get to play with a full range of edits, so I wonder what I'll come back to and tweak on these. And I agree about the medium format "look" ... it's hard to pin down, but it's something distinctive that I notice more often than not. This lens is especially nice for it. Thank you for watching, and that's awesome that this is getting viewed in Mexico! I appreciate it.

And the 75mm f/2.8 is probably my favorite ever kit lens. It's sharp, renders nicely, and is incredibly versatile. It rarely leaves my ETRS!

@@JamieMPhoto indeed, the demons can't stand fresh air, as Austin Kleon says. Hope you keep enjoying the ETRS, it's a really solid performer. One day I want to stumble across the 135W back at a decent price...

@@JamieMPhoto I have the 50, 100 macro, and 150 lenses for the ETRS, and the 150 makes a pretty decent portrait lens. It maxes out at f/4, but I find that's plenty (esp given the difficulty of critical focus).
