Not sure I follow your question entirely. When you say you want to install the MB star, do you mean the emblem on the hood or something else?

Ok, How do you discount the door handle on the inside.

There is a boudin cable on the inside with a hook on the end. This hook goes through a small hole on the inside part of the door handle. Once you pry the door handle out, you will need to twist it in such a way so that the hook can be released.

From a local classifieds site. It was dirt cheap. Most people don't like this specific type of wood trim.

Hi, i have a question, how could i change the silver trimming around the wood? Or whats the name of it? My looks very scratchy.. sorry english not my native language.

From what I remember, it cannot be changed, it is part of the trim itself. It also doesn't have a specific part number for it. If yours is scratched up you can try to polish it out, just cover the wood part with some painters tape.

Do you have any solutions to replace the worn out clips that move the interior air vents up/down and left/right... or do you have to replace the whole unit?

I know there are sellers on Ebay and other market places selling only the clips. I haven't had to replace any on my vehicles, but I know it can be done and it is not too difficult.

Funny enough I am moving to Germany soon. I do, however, not work on other people's cars. I do not want to be liable for other people's property in case something breaks during the repair. I hope you understand.

I actually liked the look a lot of the other trim I put in. It also happens to be quite rare.
