Kind of. But ‘magic’ shouldn’t be used in relation to the true Egyptian religion. Magic is a concept full of negative connotations invented and used by the apes who have thought themselves to be intermediaries between humankind and the gods. They have feasted on gods’ flesh, animal flesh, and human flesh with their mouths full of the filth of lies, blasphemies, and magic (aka manipulation of the divine energies). The proper rituals were/ should be nothing else than a family affair. The son or daughter of the gods was visiting his/her parents and looked after them (washing, dressing) and enjoying time together during the meal, talking to each other. The servants (the priests) were supposed to be mere auxiliaries, but they started to pretend that they were sons and daughters. They tried to manipulate The Divine, they neglected, slandered them, and ended- up destroying the houses of The Divine because they could not stand the reality that they were supposed to be mere servants. They destroyed the real homes and spread out in the world like a plague of deceit, building their own palaces and ideologies to serve their purposes and legitimise their claims to a status they have never had. Obviously, they tried to bury Maat. Let this be a reminder to all, especially the Christians whose abominations are an insult to The Divine. Maat is supreme- even gods and goddesses have lived only by Her. Humans should have lived by Her. She really is everything.
