There’s a Japanese comedic routine called Boke and Tsukkomi. The Boke is the fool, the idiot, or the wise guy and the Tsukkomi is the straight man. Anime created an entire genre where the world is full of Bokes and there’s like one or two Tsukkomis. D-frag is an example of this trope.
