Movies are the best mass medium to propagate an idea. Good or Bad. It was brilliantly used by Herbert Gerdes who directed 5 Nazi propaganda movies that helped Hitler rise up easier. Before you call me MCP, I wish to place on record a brilliant movie called GUDDI. Directed by Hrishikesh Mukherjee, the movie captures Jaya playing the role of a 14-year-old girl who falls in love blindly with a movie star played by Dharmendra. World over girls / women fall in love with movie stars. This is well known and Pakistan / Dawood used this to bring in the Three Khans. For that Gulshan Kumar had to be killed - road cleared and it was done. The Hindi film industry is filled with Muslim dialogue and song writers. The country is debating on Pathaan and how Bollywood shows Pakistan and Muslims in good light and Hindus in bad light. These messages are subtly fed into minds that Muslims are macho, daring, good while Hindus are corrupt. Helps in "conversions / love jihad" et al. Let me move away from these blockbusters and tell you about a small budget movie I watched on OTT. Its called "Thai Massage." Its about an old man - 70 years or so who was happily married to his wife for a long time but in that time, 28 years she was bed ridden. Naturally he was devoted to her and had no "sex" outside of marriage even when wife was incapcitated. Now that his wife had died, he decided to live his life but discovers his "cylinder" is not firing. And so he meets "friends" who takes him to - yeah you see, in a densely Hindu populated Ujjain, he gets to meet a Muslim man who at 80 produced a kid and whose grandfather is still alive. The messaging : Muslims are virile till a very long time. And Hindu men are - well, lacking.
