Dashing Trader, I have been one of your earliest followers, remember I was asking for your Instagram a while ago? Don’t stoop to their level and curse though, you don’t need to sacrifice monetizing your videos for some clowns you can’t tip, I took a no tip order tonight, and it was the same thing, but I usually message them right away when I get the order, telling them ETA, that I will make sure the restaurant verifies everything in the order is correct, and if they don’t say thank you, or respond to your request after reading it, I usually know right away they aren’t going to be a good tipper or a tipper at all… Just don’t curse because then that gives these customers the ability to try and silence this, don’t stoop to that level, you can educate them, and that’s much more valuable. I used to not understand how the tipping process work for DoorDash and Uber until I started driving for them as an independent contractor, if I knew sooner how little of the drivers make, I’d be tipping a shit ton more! Educate them first, if they give an attitude or say they are going to get cash for tip you, tell them you don’t need the money, the best tip you can give is to be considerate and thoughtful of the next time they order, that’s how we start to change things because by doing this, it’s not going to solve the issue, and the people that are miserable aren’t going to tip even if you tell them. When did people start thinking tips were mandatory? If you can't make enough money without relying on the tip, then you are probably in the wrong job. Don't put in on the customer getting the food. YOU hit accept know exactly what you have coming. Is it fair? Hell no! All of those delivery and ride share apps screw the worker just to gain more marketshare. Bullying customers into tipping wont help. They will probably just not use your service again. I tip cash when the food arrives. Why? Because you tip for good service, normally based on you interaction with the person performing the service. All I can base my tip on is, did my order show up in a reasonable amount of time? How am I going to tip for this BEFORE you arrive?

love what you do. let me give you some of the good side...saturday i accepted a 22 dollar order from a bagel store 1.7 miles from me...6 items. total 5 miles. so i knew it was a nice tip...when i got to the store they messed up..i was in constant contact with the customer i was given option of leaving and someone else would get order...i decided to stay well 30 mins later i got the order. when i got to the house i seen there was a 13 dollar tip on the order, the woman gave me an additonal 20 on top of that....there are good people in the world.

@@bribri6256 the tip was only offered after he was confronted by the driver, in a real life scenario a doordash driver would not confront the customer and just have to settle with the bad tip especially when the instructions are to leave it at the door, we are all signed up for these "cash tip after delivery" orders but i haven't gotten a single cash tip after the fact. any time they tip later they just don't tip at all.

Why, because I've sat in my driveway, no one ever showed, then magically there's a fake picture of a "bag" in some random "place" that's not my property. 3 times this has happened in 9 months. We aren't living in the 90s, 80s, 70s, etc. The internet has given rise to unlimited opportunity. But make sure you tell your dasher, Uber Eats Driver, or rideshare driver that next time when you request their services. See how fucking far that get's you. If it's a rideshare driver, he or she will kick your ass to the curb so fast it'll make your head spin. And given that statement, I highly doubt they'll even make sure you are safe. So make damn sure you make it in broad daylight, near a business.
