My Chick-fil-A has just recently started sending these texts. I had just accepted an order two minutes prior when I received a text saying the order was ready to be picked up. I hadn't even parked my car. I went inside and stood there 7 minutes before it was actually complete and handed to me. I complained to a manager, but the kid was clueless. I turned and walked away. From now on I'll be using the Other Reason option to explain that the order was marked as complete by the restaurant, but is NOT actually ready.

Yes, that's what will have to happen. I'm the one who asked the question and it dropped my on-time by 1%. That's the third time that's happened within my last 100 deliveries.

They had me scanning produce as well the other day , I scanned the bar code on the shelf and it worked 😂

lol, that’s what she said. This video is why I will never shop for someone ever again, no matter what the pay. Part Time/20 to 40 deliveries a week. All on EBT, AR down to 97% today, CR 100% and CR is 5.0. Hard to believe about 3 months ago AR was about 30%, always had a good CR and CR. As I said before I will take pretty much every order unless really outrageous, have also learned a lesson on stacked orders on EBT, another story but to it always seems to even out, 2 bad ones then a couple really good ones. I make more per mile, which I don’t really worry about, than I did on EPO, and I make what I want to make quicker instead of declining order after order. I know some people think I’m stupid but whatever, it works for me and only doing part time. I couldn’t imagine having to make a living doing this but I am retired. Doing this for 8,9, 10 hours a day or whatever is not healthy, I couldn’t do it.

I'm not fancy at all but I do only buy spring water because purified drinking water is just filtered sewer water. I mainly buy Crystal Geyser for the value but Eternal is excellent water and might be my favorite overall, its just a bit pricey, same goes for Acqua Panna.

Flat spring water has a sulfur taste to me. San Pellegrino is the only spring water I like.

28-32 hours a week, AR rarely dips below 90%. Lowest ever was 82%, but more typically 92-94%

Isn't New Seasons fun!!! LOL. My first time there I was so tense by the time I finished, I didn't know if I'd ever want to go back. But I get an average of 3 a month now, and I'm getting used to the two very different layouts between Happy Valley and Milwaukie. I once got sent to the Woodstock store, which is quite an adventure of it's own. The wine is the worst, especially at Happy Valley where they've arranged them not by variety, but by region. My last order on Sunday was a $39 order at New Seasons. I think it was 40-ish items, and it was going the wrong ay for the end of the day, but I still spent less than 45 minutes on it thanks to being more comfortable at the store. BTW, their produce isn't any better than Safeway, but their prepared foods, including their salad bar, and their hot foods bar, is pretty good. They had some brown rice in a rice cooker that was amazing, and some fairly good stuff to put on top of the rice. Otherwise I'd never shop there for myself.

I had the same exact thing happen to me at an Albertson’s. They wanted me to scan an avocado. But it’s only happened one time with the avocado there. I don’t know why it must’ve been a bug or something. 😂

When the order is marked as ready isn’t as deep as you think it is. Order’s get marked at ready (at least at Wendy’s) is when the order is cleared from the main screen. So sometimes you accidentally delete it, sometimes you delete it to make room on the screen, or you delete it because you know what’s on the order already and don’t need it to clutter the screen.

It may not be that deep to Wendy's, but DD dings us for picking up an order late because they think we're just ignoring that it's sitting on the shelf

@@B_Bodziak I do DoorDash as well. It’s really not that big of a problem. You are acting like this is killing your Arrival Time. This only happens once a week per store typically. It’s just missclicking a button, and if an order is done, they delete it too, even if the food isn’t fully packed up. There isn’t a procedure to it, it’s up to the person packing the order.

@@B_Bodziak Wendy's is specifically different from other food places. As we aren't supposed to make the order UNTIL a driver accepts the order for pick-up. So chances are some times that food might not be done until after you get there. At late night when the dining room doors are locked, we aren't allowed to start the DoorDash order until the driver gets here and states the customer's name at the speaker.

Just astounded at the money you're making. Sure not seen that in this Market in over a yr. Especially compared to the miles. Happy for you! Cracking me up in that Fru-fru Store! Since I'm locked outta work and an Uber numbnut (on DD wait list a yr now), I'll send what I remember. Since I was so sick in Dec, down to 13% AR. Took all that time to get up to 64% AR, 96% (bc of 3 tip baiters within a week), & 1% Cancel Rate.

I actually really enjoy the shop orders vs. the restaurant pick-ups. Most are fast food anyways, nothing special about that. You get to see the different kinds of things people shop for, like the fancy water, never seen that before. Although didn't seem like a fancy house, so not sure why the fancy water. 🤷🏻‍♀ Btw, I've watched several of your videos before you moved and I didn't catch or you didn't say why you moved to WA. Just needed a change? Either way, hope you're liking your new area, now that you've been there for a bit. Thanks for the shopping video! 👍😉

Not gig driver - sooo no stats here. From the looks of it Safeway's are Washington State's version of Hyvee or Ohio's Giant Eagle. Do you miss shopping at Hyvee's? I miss Zach. The only time I've seen a barcode on produce was when its pre-packaged like mini cucumbers in a bag, or a single English cucumber. The rest have PLU's on tiny stickers (Bananas are 4011 for example). I was a WM cashier for 5 years. So I have no idea what barcode or even the PLU is for Avocados would be. Good Luck!! 🙂

I had to drop a shipt order yesterday, 1st order accepted in months. Had a DD stack and was doing shipt order as well, 1st shipt item wanted me to scan pears and I couldn't bypass, trues to add contacted support and they said try another item to see if it recognizes the AR code. I only had about 5-10 minutes to play with so I dropped shipt order as it was gonna be a a pain.

I’m Berkey fancy. 😆 I filter my own water. I find I still need to buy water for my espresso machine due to mineral build-up. The $1/ gallon at Walmart is painful for me. Gotta be honest tho, I used to buy alkaline water back when money wasn’t as tight.

Part time 66% AR 100% CR unfortunately I’ve made a bunch of reports but we have a Chick-fil-A and it’s the only one around for 20 miles so they send me routinely the same orders to go 20 miles away and obviously it’s on the no tippers. I will never take two dollars for 20 miles.
