Popeyes near me, granted it was early morning, took close to 20 minutes. It was earn by time. I ended up getting over $10 base pay plus tip about $15 and change for less than 2 miles. So they need to put Popeyes on earn by time dashers to be worth it. It was slow anyway but when it was completed, the lunch rush was just starting and it lined me up for other good offers.

The first opt out location they comes to mind is Dunkin. It’s run by one 16 yr old in the early morning when I get those orders , easily 15 min wait every time. If I was near the mall more often I’d say Sephora but I’m rarely in that area. Taco Bell here is surprisingly efficient and orders are ready 95% of the time. Poopy Pants.

Bring back the pilot to opt put of restaurant orders at will, and that's what they should do with this as well. Don't make it one merchant and allow me to do so at will. If I had to pick one in Pittsburgh pa hmm that'd be the most no tip offers and that varies I lastly get shops

Dollar General. There's a couple of taco trucks around me, too. I've never gotten an order with a tip on it, so those two. Also, 7/11 to many no tip alcohol orders.

Taco Smell opt our for sure! No limited time rewards for me. Is the Shop and Deliver, and Alcohol Orders OPT OUT in Dasher Preferences in every single market now? I love it because when I am not in mood to shop I still want to stay on per order instead of having to move on to active hour.

NEW DD PICTURE message? I logged in and a DoorDash message popped up at top of phone saying that 33 percent of my leave at door orders DON"T include a picture, and then disappeared before I could finish reading it . DURRRR DoorDash, I marked handed to customer on all of those because the customers grabbed their orders before I could get to their doors. Why is DD even sending this message, and why can't I find it in my email or somewhere in my app,? The DD "handed to customer" icon to complete the order without a picture at door, should explain this, as DD provided this option when customers do this. There is some funky AI brain fart going on with this. Anyone else get this message?

I wouldn’t mind doing shopping orders for non grocery stores. If was all Dollar general or Rite Aid and stores like that wouldn’t mind shopping at all.

Being able to opt of of places sounds cool until you realize everyone did the same thing as you and now theres less orders to go around. If yall think theres no orders now, if they let drivers ban restaurants there would really be no orders. Problem restaurants shouldn't be a problem if you know how to utilize the pause feature. Dont want orders from that restaurant? Then pause your dash if you are near there and never go over there to look for orders, simple.

Plastic bags for carrots, potatoes, all kinds of frozen veggies etc etc but then turn around and give you a cardboard straw in your disposable cup & lid 😂

I never got on DD, or Spark as there are too many delivery people in my area This sounds like a great idea to get feedback to give to the restaurants. Hopefully after two weeks the mgrs at these places can modify what they are doing to discourage gig workers. The absolute worst for me is Wing Stop! They don't prioritize orders for those already there, rather they fill the rack with bags to be picked up (at some point). The last time, I was there 12 minutes, asked how much longer, was told I was the third order coming up.

Taco Bell and Popeyes need to only be sent to dashers earning by time since they tend to work the slowest. They both tend to have customers that don't tip well or at all too.

There is nothing AI about AI - someone programmed it to search for those words. We have something similar at my work. They are monitoring letter language of doctors and loaded a database with words they wanted to block. I bet the programmers loaded it in the DB and they didn't check the product they just said "alcohol' and flagged it. The sizing on the chips now is like Family size = vending machine size. I'm like and you charge $6. 😲

Thank God! We have certain merchants which are ratings killers in my market. Once you see how awful they are, you decline every offer. And so does everyone else which means you'll get repeat offers you've already declined for a couple extra dollars & have to take a double-hit. Everyone in the market declines the same merchant so these offers bounce around wrecking everyone's ratings. If you do take their offer, odds are they'll botch it & then you run the risk of an unfair rating from the customer for things beyond your control. I can only dash for a week in my favorite area before this one merchant wrecks my AR

This will most certainly be a "limited-time" option because too many dashers would "opt out" from servicing the most notorious merchants regarding wait times and low payouts, effectively boycotting them off the platform. The two that come to mind are Bojangles and Popeyes Chicken. At a minimum, Doordash should never pair these two merchants with multiple/stacked orders.

It says merchant not restaurant so in my area i hate picking up balloons the most so i would pause all orders from Party City

When you pay for bags are they better quality? The bags Food Lion has are so thin you have to double bag which defeats the purpose. I do have some of my own that I carry with me for rainy days. I picked up a box at Sam's and they last for a long time - you know for the paper bags that would disintegrate if you left them on wet pavement uncovered. 😆 Aldi is the only store here in SC we pay for bags. I do like the paper ones as long as they are sturdy - with handles. I feel like there is major room for drink holder upgrades in the food take out industry. They are so bad. Or just upgrade the cups so they will not spill...or...just offer cans of soda for take out . There ya go. The Chinese restaurants had it figured out a long time ago. My no go restaurants are: 1. Taco Bell 2. Sonic 3. Wendy's 4. Chick-Fli-A - I'll go there but not my favorite. They are nice but it's always super busy and parking is a mess. 5. Burger King (one specific store) 6. KFC (usually slow) Mostly these are very slow getting me the order and don't pay well. My Taco bell has us sign some paper we picked it up. We just got a wingstop and for now they are very attentive. It is just a walk in location. I've heard bad stories about WingStop in other areas.

Oh hell yeah 7 eleven opt out all day everyday day can't stand those slow places and it's always bad orders. Also buffalo wild wings is Notoriously slow.

I'm still new to this but thought this too.Doordash has a hourly average for each dasher. I made it to platinum and noticed even more orders I decline and went from Platinum to silver on a slow friday. I guess I'm only a silver dasher LOL

As a platinum dasher I can attest that it is a complete scam. I bust my ass put CRAZY miles on my truck to get to this status only to realize nothing changed. The most unethical company to work for, and be clear we are in fact employees! Disgusted. Edit: Not 1 platinum offer after a week of being a platinum dasher, the miles INCREASED, the offers are not even 1.50 per mile.

Just had that one yesterday. That Filet mignon pay out 2$, out of the zone was not worth it. Was extra 2 dollars after hour pay for me.
