Do you feel like you are lacking motivation, things aren't as fun anymore, and all you really want to do is chase instant gratification? If yes, then this is probably because of your dopamine system being numb from living a crappy lifestyle.

This is one of the channels that gave me the courage to start my KZbin channel 7 months ago about self development. Now I have 710 subs and > 200 hours of watch time. I know it’s not comparable with others but I’m still proud I started because I’ve been learning so many lessons that I could haven’t learned without getting started in the 1st place.

I have a thing with night clubs and parties. I usually go to parties on Friday and Saturday, and there are lots of girls, alcohol, loud music and fun. That is like an atomic bomb of dopamine for me, in a way that I spend the whole week just thinking about the weekend and the parties that are coming, just anxious about the fun and the kissing I’m going to have. And this makes me miserable during the week, because I can only think about it, the outfit I’m going to wear, the strategies to talk to more and more girls, and etcetera. It also makes me anxious, and sometimes my stomach hurts too. Yeah, I’m sick and broken with this, but it is my fault for letting this thing flood my head and take control over my brain, as you said on the video. It makes me feel good for 2 days, but makes me miserable for a week. And all other stuff in my life is not as entertaining as this parties, so my life is slowly becoming a mess because I don’t have will power to handle anything else. Thanks for the video, now I know what can help me, I hope I can have the strength to fix this problem and start living again.

This is a bit helpful. But I need more info. I don't use social media. And hardly watch any porn. But I have been stuck on video games pretty bad. No particular game. But just dedicating lots of time to whatever video game I an interested in playing through. Or I watch some kind of movie or show. And YT. Those are my addiction. I don't do any drugs or anything. My life has become a complete mess I don't know what I am supposed to do. 3 long term goals is get in shape, enroll in school, save to enough money for better car or my own property. But before any of those three, my priority is to organize my life.. Simplify everything, and sell my inventory of valuable collections. Worth thousands. Now that my current car is working since a few days ago, I have significantly cut down on video games. I am a bit more productive. But I still need help.

My lifestyle is that of interpolated extremes of unbalanced, unfulfilled, lackluster time contribution. The pendulum swings from extreme, sleep-deprived, lackluster deep work towards goals that don't matter. Then, rebounds towards hedonistic, overindulging, carefree instant pleasure.

Its on of my aim . Im sucks at women. Most of nofap attraction videos r not that believable . They say its real and dont give any belieable explanation. Can u do a detailed video about it. In my case it just gave me more confidence and free time. I proved to myself that I'm in control, not the guy down there, and the time I'd otherwise spend nutting now could be spend to do productive things like working out or learning new things, which improves my attractiveness. It's the things you do after nofap frees up your mind and time, not nofap itself.

Meditating, going for a walk, reading, spending time with family/friends. These things ACTUALLY relax your brain, unlike high dopamine activities which essentially just distract you with more stimulation.

@CodeOfTyFilm

Honestly if you start to get into better habits and those habits occupy your time it becomes inevitable you’ll replace porn…technology may be more difficult since it’s convenient 24/7. It takes more will.

Bro i have a few question.. 1.edging or rubbing ur thing for few minutes.. Then stopping before to late.. Is my nofap streak is done.. I have to start again 2.i rubbed my thing few minutes and i about to.. Or close to u know releasing.. My seed.. I am that close.. But holding it back.. And continuing my streak.. Is it okay.. Or my streak is gone.. And by holding that back.. When its to close.. Its gona damage our reproductive system.. Right.. Please reply 😢😢
@robmulder
@robmulder 2 жыл бұрын
Well let me ask you this. What happened already happened, didn't it? Why do you care if I tell you to reset your streak or not? What difference is it going to make? I think the best advice I can give you is to stop worrying about your 'streak'. That being said though, "edging" is really not such a great idea, I've made a video about it: kzbin.info/www/bejne/rmK9c6iZrJufi68
@Marscompany
@Marscompany 2 жыл бұрын
Edging is even worse than releasing when it comes to destroying your dopamine system since you keep that high level of dopamine for a longer time and stay overstimulated. And it will eventually build up to you releasing as well since you store all these triggers up until the urge to relapse isn't controllable anymore. You're basically filling up a barrel every time you are confronted with triggers and it will be full at some point... Idk if you edge to your thoughts or to porn but if it's to porn then you're confronted with this insane stimulation for way too long.
@Lonewolf-eo9sk

@@robmulder i did saw that video.. About edging.. I know it so wrong.. But like i commented.. I mean the 2.question or doubt.. Its danger right u r about to close to release and then holding it back..
@robmulder

@@Lonewolf-eo9sk As far as I'm aware, there isn't a lot of scientific evidence on the topic of edging, but I can personally imagine that i.e. the pressure you are putting on your prostate isn't that great for you.
