And what happens if Grey Gargoyle lets go now that Thor is in pieces? Grey Gargoyle is not a magical creation... his origin story is that. He was a young chemist working for a pharmaceutical company, who accidentally spilled a potion contaminated by some unknown organic substance on his right hand. It causes his hand to turn to stone-like material, still capable of movement. He also discovered that any matter he touched also turned to stone, and passed the effects onto the rest of his body... His belt seem to have some kind of universal constant attached to it that lets it resist science and magic... (unless of course the potion that infected Grey Gargoyle was basically magic...) but science is just magic you understand...

He’s had the odinforce multiple times, in Jason Aaron’s run, the J Michael run, even the run before that prior to getting the Rune King amp he had it. You people seem to think it amps him significantly mainly because of Odin’s showings when honestly if you read the Michael run or Aaron run or post War of Realms he didn’t get that much stronger. At least definitely not physically you could argue he hits harder, he didn’t really gain “consistent” fancy abilities, dude began the Michael run by resurrecting all dead asgardians (since he killed them all and himself to starve TWSAIS who feed in Ragnarok but I cbf explaining) and then he lost the ability to revive asgardians. The truth is the Odinforce has always been this Deus Ex Machina that can just do random things, sometimes it is an actual amp to all his physical stats, sometimes it isn’t, hell Thanos already folded this version of Thor, Odin could never lose to Thanos which only goes further to strengthen the Idea you think he scales to Odin but Odin was just written better and even though on paper he should scale to Odin he just isn’t written that way. Which isn’t a good explanation it’s just how things are, and as someone that’s read Thor the run got good until he the Zeus amp in my opinion.
