I don't think people understand just how massive this run is when it comes to not only the Hulk's lore, but also Marvel in general. Let's talk about the Hulk first. In this issue, Eldest confirms that Enkidu and Hulk are the same being. Just reincarnated with Hulk losing his memories as Enkidu. Maybe because when Enkidu bonded with Bruce Banner during the gamma bomb incident, he lost all of his memories as Enkidu and developed a new persona, The Incredible Hulk. The Hulk/Enkidu is a spiritual entity that exists as the prime avatar of The One Below All/One Above All, known as The Fractured Son. That is an insane revelation! As for The Mother of Horrors. It's confirmed that she was NOT created by The One Above All when he made the 1st Cosmos (First Firmanent). She essentially created herself, with The One Above All being completely unaware of her existence. When he eventually did find out about her existence, he became The One Below All and imprisoned her, because he realized he couldn't beat her in his normal One Above All form. Because in that form, his only weapons were positive concepts like Love, Hope, Creation etc. He had to change into The One Below All and change his weapons to negative concepts like Death, Rage, etc, to defeat and imprison her. The Eldest right now is channeling Mother's power and her true form exists in a dimension where she rules over it. And now the Hulk has been defeated and is now being used as a key to free The Mother of Horrors, with the soul intension of dethroning and getting revenge on The One Above All/One Below All. This is crazy lore that Marvel has written for Hulk. Once the Green Door reopens, it's about to go down!

They can have Hulk summon The One Below All and gain a massive power boost from TOBA to prepare for a tag team showdown against Eldest and The Mother of Horrors. Or they can have Hulk merge with The One Below All to become TOBA Hulk and face Eldest who would probably merge with The Mother of Horrors as well. But if I were a betting man, I think Hulk is going to split up from Bruce Banner permanently and become an actual servant of The One Below All. Or what would be cool is if The One Below All turns back into The One Above All and turns the Hulk into an angelic being. An angelic being that's finally at peace with himself and is no longer driven by rage. From The Fractured Son to The Unbroken Son. It actually fits perfectly to the ending of #50 of Immortal Hulk. There is weight and there is counterweight. And The One Above All asks the Hulk on where he laid those foundations. You build with one hand, and you break with the other. The left hand is strength, and the right hand is mercy. And The One Above All specifically asks the Hulk, "Would you build or would you break?" If the Hulk truly transcends into some all-powerful angelic being, then he would have chosen to BUILD. From Breaker Of Worlds, to Builder Of Worlds.

​@@keistophercas cool as PKJ's run is, I am still bitter about what Cates did to the dynamic of the alters (get rid of them pretty much and put Bruce against Hulk yet again). And I think this run is hampered by that. I'm not sure what the internal narrative would look like without the sheer hatred between the two while Hulk is protecting Charlie and pursuing the Eldest of the Mother of Horrors, but I really wish Starship Hulk never happened so we could get a story like this but coming right off the cooperative dynamic that Immortal left off with.

Hulk is essentially The One Below Alls avatar so controlling the Hulk allows Eldest to open a prison only TOBA itself can open. It was implied that due to Hulks power being 'divine' in its source it can never be truly destroyed or lost, therefore a Hulk must ALWAYS exist because destruction and rage itself must exist. So the Hulk or at least the power of Hulk has existed for 1000's of years in different forms, Enkidu was one of the more famous versions. He destroyed the Eldest with the help of TOBA but Enkidu's mortal form died aswell.
