どれくらい違う？エンジンオイルの粘度を比較してみた（0W-20、5W-30、5W-50）

気温が一桁になり、アルト（HA36S）のエンジンが温まるまで加速が鈍くなった感じがでたので、低粘度のエンジンオイルに変えてみようかと思いました。
その前に粘度の違いがどれくらいあるか実験してみました。

ありがとうナイステストですね。　ウチのクルマは、中古で来たばっかりですが、SN級 0w-20 から10w-30まで、気温で選んでねが指定なので、これからのオイルは、5w-30の部分合成油に決めました。

エンジン保護のために上の数字に合わせて、下は燃費や最低気温で決めてもよいかもしれません。

一度に走る距離などで油温がどこまで上がるかなども考えてオイルを選ぶとよさそうです。

鉄板も温度調整しないと、硬いオイルほど鉄板に熱が奪われてしまい、本来の流動性を目視出来ない可能性もありますね。 とはいえ、ここまでよく実演してくださいました。 ありがとうございます、

0W-20と5W-30でどれくらい違うのかなと思い実験してみました。 冬場は純正指定の0W-20の方がよさそうな感じでした。

自分もNAアルトha36s-F-5MTに乗ってまふ。5w-30のオイル、硬くて回らなくなる。アクセルが重いでふ。ので今は0w-16でOKなのだ！

後片付け考えると手のかかってる動画ですね、お疲れ様です。W側の数字が同じ時の寒冷比較は同じ粘度だと思ってました。 いい勉強させて貰いました。当方歴代プリウス乗ってますがエンジン保護の観点から５W-30を使ってます0Wは油切れ起こしそうで怖い。 社用の２０型プリウスは２台とも0Wを使ってましたが２０万キロ前後でピストンリングがダメになりました。

同じメーカーでもかなり差があって私も驚きました。 夏と冬で粘度を変えるのがベストかもしれませんが、距離走らないとオイルがもったいないので悩みますね。

0W‐20は低速走行するだけなら大丈夫なんだが、高速走行では粘度がシャバシャバの水状態になるから油膜が切れて逆にエンジンを痛めるのが低燃費オイル系の罠。落ちづらいって事は金属にオイルが張り付いて保護してるって事だし。盲目的にメーカー推奨粘度オイルを使うのも危険なのよ。

オイル交換はどれくらいの期間でしてましたか？0w20入れたからと言うくらいじゃそうそうエンジンダメになりませんよ。

お店に置いてある筒の中に金属玉が入っている物は常に店内の温度、つまりは常温での比較なのであまり意味は無いですが、こちらは温度を常温より上げているので、良い結果だと思いました。ただ、低温側は氷点下での動きも見てみたいです。

実際の適温は90℃前後なので、確かに見たいところです。 お湯から取り出すとすぐに温度さがっちゃうんですよ・・・ 油で温めるしかないですかね（汗）

【30度】 　30度の方は室内でエアコンでも使用して金属板自体も温めた方が良かったですね。 　オイルが金属に触れると温度が下がってしまいますから。 　メーカーの試験では、オイルの温度は 0.1度以下の精度で設定します。

もし90℃で0w-20も5w-30も同じ流れなら5w-30にする意味がないように思えます。どうなのでしょうか？

アルミ板を伝っている間にも冷えてしまうので、同じような結果に見えてしまっていますが、実際にはメーカーの出している粘度指数からも5W-30の方が固いはずなので、現状の油温や運転状況にあったものを使用するのが良いと思います。 気温の高い夏場に実験していれば、もっとわかりやすい結果になったのではないかと思います。

It was developed by the Germans during World War II to solve the problem of starting tanks and locomotives in the cold zone. Later, it was widely used in aviation and other fields. Gradually switch to motor sports. Ester base oils are formed by catalytic dehydration of organic acids and alcohols. Commonly used are diester, polyol ester and compound ester. アルトなどスズキはオイル食わないです むしろダイハツはオイル食うから知ってる人や昔の人はダイハツ嫌い多いw アルト系だとエンジン基盤自体古い構造だから0w-20よりは5w-30か10W-30で部分合成油はエンジン保護にはいいですが5w-50だと始動時は気を使いそう

メーカー的には問題ないような設計してるんでしょうけど、夏場で上が20はちょっと心配になっちゃいます。
