The two best concerts I’ve seen in recent years in Glasgow - Agnes Obel and Paolo Nutini. Both fantastic but for different reasons. One hypnotic and the other raw passions

Kudos to the two other girls on the violin and cello as well. Everything they do is just beautiful. One of my favourite artists. Definitely, more of Agnes, please.

The instrument is a Celesta. There’s a great video about it on KZbin called ‘ Schiedmayer Celesta at NAMM 2019 (Celeste)’ in which some well known Celesta tunes are played. Agnes Obel is big on experimenting with different instruments. Another unusual instrument here is the viola

That was different. Good, though 🙂 You two would probably like the Russian duo iamthemorning, who have been described as 'chamber pop' or 'chamber prog'. Female singer (Marjana) and male piano player (Gleb), but sometimes with guest woodwinds/strings/drums, etc. 1st album 2012 was just the two of them, for the most part. 2nd album they added drummer Gavin Harrison from Porcupine Tree, along with a few other guests, 3rd album added bassist Colin Edwin from Porcupine Tree, Gavin Harrison again, plus others. 4th album in 2019. Fairly soft musically, their 1st album I wouldn't even call it rock music.

great song, well done! i think you should get into her concert at philharmonie de paris. i'm really sure you'll love it. i've listened to it so many times and it gets more intense every time! i like dorian from the philarmonie-concert a bit better. as you speak of her dreamlike sound: her husband is doing all the music videos for her. i think, they are very close together because it's the perfect fit. her videos are always a dreamlike artwork. i have a beautiful song for you guys, it's a song by valdimar, featuring sóley, called "this time". it's a love song, but where love hurts. you know? kzbin.info/www/bejne/d4bZhGeKgNKWpdU i really would like to hear your opinion.
