Okay so this is probably not relatable to anyone who reads this, but this song reminds me SO MUCH of a fanfic I'm reading called "These Things Written" by Erisenyo on AO3 (it's inspired by a very similar one called Epistles by Lady_of_the_Flowers). The ship is Sokka/Zuko from ATLA and just- first of all the lyric about the flames getting higher fits really well bc, you know, firebenders. And the fic is about Sokka, during what would be season 1, hiding the fact that he's stated writing letters back and forth with Zuko (and has developed a crush on him ofc, its fanfiction) from Aang and Katara and he feels guilty about it so the lyric "This lie can't last for long" is *perfect* and it talks about Zuko in his armor a lot, also the fic gets kinda *s p i c y* so. yeah. Idk why I felt the need to write this out but I did so... You're welcome?
