Its fun looking at old stamps from foreign countries especially when the country has changed names when they gained independence from lets say Great Britain or France. One example you have is a Nigeria stamp while it was under British rule..the stamp had "Postage Revenue" marked on it indicating Great Britain. If you google everything written on any stamp it will tell you the country and usually some history. I inherited bags of these old stamps many many years ago (Im 70) and I cant tell you how much history I have learned going thru them.

I'm 63 and enjoy them in the same way as I also see them as a work of art to make the plates for them to be printed out.So much work in details and learning as I go about the history.I great hobby to have.Thank you for your comment.

Where are the penny blacks and tupney blue's? I agree some are lovely but not the best but yes nice to look at, the Edward VIII ain't very rare especially in that condition

I wish that she would have given us some actual information on them. I believe that the first one is from Austria. I have quite a few of these, I've been going through eBay, and I seem to get more information there ♥
