I wonder if the former Captain's actions led to At Achrann devolving into chaos. Perhaps he destroyed the Supervisor and no one knew what to do. He might even be King Nohead and had the statue erected in his honor, which would explain why the survivors later removed the head.

This discussion absolutely devolved and I'm here for it. Palpatine smalls like a god damned nursing home- one that's getting away with hidden neglect just under a presentable facade.

When Bendu was talking about how different planets might smell it made me think that they should release a line of Star Wars scented candles 😆

Nah…imagine coruscant: which level? Uppermost might be alright, lower levels will likely have a stench about them the lower you get. Tatooine? What’s there to smell in an arid/desert environment? Perhaps some stench in the more densely populated areas? Naboo? Some generic foresty thing I guess. Ferrix? Stench, metallic, industrial, dust. At Achran? Burned, decay, smoke. Bespin? Can’t even imagine it tbh. Etc etc So while it is a cool idea I am afraid I doubt it would really work out that well…

My theory. A pirate crashed on at attin. He doscovered this colony being run by a supervisor drone. Sm33. As a pirate he wasnt one to just submit to droids. So he tricked sm33 or reprogrammed him to be his first mate. Went looking for these other colonies and once he saw how they had fallen. ( either from republic falling, population growing tired of droids. Etc ) He had sm33 destroy coordinates. Kill his remaining crew and retreat back to at attin and live as " the supervisor" with his hidden treasure. Or he overthrew all the other planets and then when he knew there was only one left he would keep it hidden by destroying its coordinates along the way of his pillaging tour

Aye-eeee. I think we saw enough of this planet to move on to another one that has been destroyed. We learned a few critical things here, besides Smee having been here before. The kids did not recognize the stature. It seems At Attin does not have anything that might compare to it. The Supervisor’s Tower was basically a Command and Control Room situated on top of an elevator shaft. All the controls seemed designed for someone standing up, not sitting down. Why weren’t the native tribes interested in the spaceship? It could have tipped the scales in the clan war. The most significant piece of character development came from Jod. He seemed to pull a mind trick on his captors and then lied to the kids about using the credits to buy their freedom. If the spaceship was not very valuable to the inhabitants, then Republic credits would have been equally as worthless. Hides seemed to be the main currency, or one of many.

What is this “Great Work”?

Yes, the planets look like they were built using Ikea flat packs, all identical. George Lucas told Mark Hamill that there are dialects in the galaxy, so Hann or Hahn, A T A T or atat. Thinking of odors, animals without fur probably smell worse than those with fur except elephants and rhinos that have think, leathery skin.

Elephants are pretty smelly...

From 5:52 onwards-ish Sorry Bendu but nothing is more cookie cutter than the dystopia that is US suburbia…USSR cookie cutter has a different language to it, At Attin etc definitely screams US suburbia, I’d say.
