The difference between the security force doing it and Mario doing it is that the security force spends weeks making sure things go as smoothly as possible and nobody dies. Mario heads out immediately at great risk to himself. Even in a world with a competent security force, it makes sense they wouldn't get there as quickly. That's just not how the invasion of a foreign power's fortress would go down.

I mean.... technically Mario won in the argument, he was pretty relaxed while being captured. Didn't look like he had any troubles, whereas peach had to call in a whole squad and spend money on ammo, fuel, one grenade at least, and who knows what else, if Mario did that Every time she got captured, the mushroom kingdom would be bankrupt especially since Kamek can revive bowser as we've seen. Also sometimes there are decoy bowsers, so that's more supplies, and if they stoop to using weapons, bowser will too. It's like the nuclear plan, they don't use em, he won't. Also Mario does have a point about the toads, which doesn't even matter since he HAS fought alongside them, so it's not like he doesn't use them.

lets not forget that he blatantly told peach he was going to get kidnapped in an hour, so her setting up a few squads, and tracking him using a few sleeper agents would be plausible, depending on where they were set up. and once they knew what world he as in, its as easy as tearing trough with tons of weapons and manpower. thats a luxury mario usually doesnt have. he sometimes does (like in new soup u), but it would still mean he has to tear through alone or with his brother and 2 toads, and he would also still have to go through a lot of worlds on foot or swimming. plus, in mario 3 peach sends *only him* to save multiple other kingdoms, so he could also be a kind of ambassador to the mushroom kingdom. its not till bowser kidnaps peach at the END of the game, after he has saved the other 7 kingdoms, when he tears straight through world 8, as he knows EXACTLY where bowser is now, as there is only 1 option. it also makes you wonder what happened to all other kingdoms, as it seems like its now only the mushroom kingdom and bowsers kingdom. was that ever explained, or is it now all property of bowser? as there are castles. there are towers. there is infrastructure. so why are there so many of them empty BEFORE the koopalings enter them? cuz in new soup u, mario gets HURLED all the way to another continent, and has to get back to the mushroom kingdom. but in 1-2 there are a lot of pipes underground... no way did bowser set those up that quickly. cuz unless pipes grow from the round like a plant, that pipe system is gonna take a few months to set up. no way is bowser able to get it up whithin a afternoon. so does he own it? cause there are goombas and koopas that try to kill you in 1-1. or was it all abandoned? and if it was abandoned... abandoned by who? it cant be bowser, cause hes setting up his army there. at least until mario slaughters it single handedly. and we do find toads there, and toad houses, but no villages. so it cant be the property of peach. so is it a kind of no-mans land? or has it been abandoned by someone. that raises a few other questions like, what happened to bowsers TANKS?! in mario 3 he used to have tanks, but now he doesnt anymore. did he think they were useless compared to airships? or does he still use them. and if he still uses them... where are they? we see the airships in the mushroom kingdom, which is a good call of bowser, considering the sheer stupidity of the layout of every world. but is he also trying to wage war on another place as well? that would make sense considering how little soldiers there are in the mushroom kingdom compared to how big it is. at the same time that makes sense as there are only 4/5/6 people from the mushroom kingdom that fight bowser at all. so where are all the troops? why use so little airships and troops in a place that you wanna take over? also, what happened to sarasaland? we KNOW it exists. daisy is cannon, and she is still a princess. so why havent we seen sarasaland since 1989? (or 1992 if you wanna take the manual seriously and see it as canon). did it get taken over, is it constantly under attack and fighting back against bowser, or is it sitting idly by as mario does all the work? cuz you'd THINK sarasaland would try to help the mushroom kingdom considering peach is daisy's friend... i think. and that also raises ANOTHER question. the hell happened to mario land? you know, the kingdom mario owns! im not kidding. wario took over when mario left to save daisy in mario land 1, (so wario is the ultimate stan) and screwed everything up, so mario has to collect the 6 McGuffins and kick wario out. but mario owns a country! or at least a bigass castle! so what happened to it? if we see paper mario as canon (im talking the first one, as its a storybook retelling of a adventure mario went on) he now owns a little cottage in the middle of nowhere. so what the hell happened to his old place? is the cottage a vacation home for him? or did he get kicked out? or was mario land so screwed he is getting the place fixed, but needed to evacuate the county? i wish nintendo would bring those places back. they could do very cool stuff with them. especially mario land. i know they probably dont want mario to own a kingdom anymore, cuz why doesnt he send a squad to save peach if he's by definition a king? but they can make it look like a giant theme park instead. made by peach. also they could use sarasaland as the desert world, and put it at the end being concord by bowser. the desert/lava aesthetic could be awesome, as they could also use glass as hot sand becomes glass. so not only can it play with the "its *hot* here" aesthetic, but also make use of glass by making hidden spots made of glass. like a leap of faith as you notice one piece of lava isnt waving as high. and by the way, thanks to wario land (canonicly known as mario land 3) we know that mario is a complete asshole and maybe a simp to peach. gladly stealing a massive gold statue of peach to haul off to: either peach, so he can earn some cash, or haul to mario land, to do who knows what with it. so dorkly has made a more faithful mario then nintendo did. as dorkly mario is a complete dick. and nintendo mario is a complete saint (aside from all the mass murder he does).

@@MrMoron-qn5rx And I'm here to correct your mistakes: Yeah, Mario destroys the bricks, but it says that the transformation can be reverted only if he defeats Bowser, and you can see powerups and bricks in all the other games so not every block or power up are toads. The goombas and koopas are Bowser's allies, of course Mario's gonna defend himself and btw, Mario doesn't attack every goomba or koopa, play the paper mario series or the mario and luigi series. Is not cannon that mario punches yoshi wdym? It was already confirmed that he actually points in front of yoshi to indicate him to stick out his tongue, in fact, Mario and yoshi are really good friends and Yoshi doesn't seem mad at him at all. I don't know what statue are you talking about in that point. Yeah, Mario step on Luigi's shoe because he was jealous, but at the end of the day they are brothers, they can get jealous at each other and still care about each other, in fact there's another scene where if the enemy wins the leader push Luigi making him fall and you can see Mario and Peach running to help him adn comfort him So yeah, you're just stuck in those years where "Making Mario a psychopath" was a thing

It was originally the concept but canon-wise, the creators said that it was Mario pointing and even made art of Mario doing it. Toads are only in the question or some invisible/hidden blocks as in the old guide, it said that the Toads reward Mario with powerups after freeing them. 3, those Goombas and Koopas are evil and are trying to kill Mario.

Honestly this kinda proves how powerful Mario is when you think about it. Like the other comments say Mario does this by him self most of the time. And instead of having endless resources and proper training, it’s just him. That plus they probably skipped a lot of the travel with detective work and eye witnesses, meaning they don’t have to go from world to world and fight a seemingly endless amount of time for *weeks* apparently. Plus he can break bricks with his bare hands, so metal bars most likely aren’t gonna hold him. Overall if Mario snaps from the torture, I don’t see it ending well for the Mushroom kingdom. Especially since as Peach mentioned, Mario can come back with enough coins. (Edit) To explain what I meant about it proving how powerful he is. It took an elite force trained and funded by the crown to do what Mario does alone (most of the time).

Mario is way more useful than a security system, you wouldnt have to pay anyone to help you since Mario does it for free, Mario is also extremely tougher than a normal human, since he can jump really high (his brother can even jump slightly higher than him), he can run and run and jump for hours without getting tired, can take out an entire army (bowser's army) and deal with tanks and stuff (super Mario bros 3), gets rich by simply travelling, he is so useful that peach has no need to hire a bunch of weak scared toads (they dont jump as high as Mario so certain traps cant be passed, and if they werent scared of bowser's army they wouldnt need to rely on Mario)
