hey i saw you used my mushroom clip, i have an explanation. crossing the invis wall backwards removes the barrier (WorldEndBorderArea). It does exist in 1.0, however you can remove the barrier on 1.3 too. You can just long jump into the wall from behind, then do a CRC to capture the binoculars. on 1.0 you can just nut jump to the painting platform

5:53 It's not cause it's made for children, this is an all ages game. It's cause there's no reason to boot you back out to the title screen only for you to just immediately load back into the kingdom. Game over screens had a purpose in other Mario games when there were individual levels and stakes of you having to retry that level if you died. But Mario Odyssey doesn't need one because instead of indiviual levels there's full kingdoms to explore. And dying still has stakes of losing a few coins and then having to retry whatever challenge you were doing. But having a game over screen that boots you back to the title screen would just be tedious.

Couple of comments Fastest coin method in SPEEDRUNNING is that subarea since LBW is banned for runs. Weird fact about that mushroom jump, if you get to the painting without warping/with nut jumps, when you vault the invisiwall won't be there. But if you warp or go through the painting, it is

The one in the thumbnail can be true, but its only for one frame theres a trick that if you open the map at the same frame mario touches the poison, you can teleport around since he is standing on the poison and didnt die, this trick has a 1 frame window

I'd like to make a counter argument to the Bowser coin one and the Luigi if you don't find the balloon in time you could be searching it and it's not a guaranteed with the Bowser one it's easy you can repeat the exact same inputs over and over and over and over and get a little less then that one where you don't do that and don't even assure you find the balloon you can just re-import the exact same things over and over and if you're really quick you would be able to probably get a lot faster than you did 1 Grand scale just people have a lot of skill in there so they could probably make it even faster and even more efficient in a way
