You mentioned you had a sweet. How do you get a sweet when going to Gatton versus one of the other rooms?

All of the rooms are suite style with a few exceptions. There are rooms with a single bathroom which you would only share with a roommate, however it is unlikely you would get placed in one since seniors get first pick. I think you can request one when you fill out the rooming form but there’s no guarantee you’d get one. Are you going to come or are you still debating?

Hi! I'm a freshman in the BAMS program. I'm looking to apply for this school. Do you have any tips that could be helpful?

I’m not familiar with that program but general advice I can give you is to be involved with extracurriculars that you can make significant impacts in. Keep your grades up and take as many challenging courses as your school offers. Start taking the ACT if you haven’t already and try to get your score as high as possible before applying. Other than that, if you have any specific questions I’d be more than happy to help answer them!

@@MinaRyumae Alright, thanks for the advice! I was also wondering how the application goes. I’m just worried about the writing prompts portion. What were they like? We’re they difficult?

@@atomicarson7962 it’s somewhat similar to college writing supplements. My best advice is just to be honest in your stories and try to display great aspects of your personality. Don’t write what you think admissions want to hear. But basically how the application works is you apply and after a couple weeks then you’ll hear whether you’re eligible to interview and a couple weeks after that you’ll hear about the decision

Are we allowed to have a TV?

You are allowed to have one but of course you need to consider the spaces in the room. Each floor has a tv though that is open to use for students

Hi! so I’ve been thinking about maybe applying to Gatton but, is it mandatory that you have to be wanting to go into a STEM field or is that just like the specialty or something?

It is definitely not mandatory that you’re going to pursue stem! I knew of a couple people during my time that wanted to go into the arts. However, with that being said, it is a stem focused program. So while you can still take some classes outside graduation requirements, you’ll have to keep in mind that you will also have to take a very heavy load of stem classes. Hope that helps to answer your question!
