Hey Mr. G, I've been checking out some stuff on KZbin lately and stumbled upon an interesting trend. Some automotive enthusiasts seem to believe that simply investing in a high-end scanner could make up for their lack of training. On the other hand, there are those who think that shelling out for an expensive welder will instantly turn them into master welders. What do you think? Do you reckon it's more about training and practice than fancy equipment?

I think that a simple tool with just Generic OBD II can diagnosis driveability and check light issues. Both of the tools we used have both Generic and Enhanced data with bi-directional control. Training on expensive tools is very important just as you stated. We all need to update our skill level no matter what it may pertain to.
