Beautiful! I grew up riding this coaster, and I do have pictures from other sites online that show the original layout... I love your work!

Cool recreation! I've had a hard time finding pictures of the original layout since it was short lived and so long ago. I personally like the figure 8 layout and think it has some good airtime and laterals. However, I really would like to see Thunderhawk further restored with the trim brakes removed and the station moved back closer to where it used to be and put the transfer track where the station currently is. The ride has more potential than in it's current state.

I live near Dorney Park. This is actually more like how the Thunderhawk is now with its pale white color and concrete trench where the mine tunnel used to be through 1994 when the building with bumper cars was over that part of the coaster. It was torn down for the current station. It was renamed Thunderhawk in 1989 the year the now gone Hercules opened. I tried building Dorney Park in RCT3 but the grid doesn't allow you to build the off grid layout of Dorney Park. Planet Coaster has freeform construction and you can build the layout of Dorney Park better. Now I have Planet Coaster 2 and it has working water park stuff for Wildwater Kingdom but it's missing some flat rides that were in Planet Coaster 1 like the Whip and Scrambler which Dorney Park has. There is a fake Scrambler ride for PC2 on the workshop. Most of Dorney's major coasters are on the PC2 workshop already and two different entrance buildings, PC2 uses a Frontier workshop where PC1 uses Steam workshop.

Another great job. I didn’t realize it didn’t have the L shaped layout. One real cool thing was that after leaving the station, it used to run under the bumper car building before it burned. Would be nice to have that added, but I have no idea how easy or hard that would be.

Have you thought about doing Pontchartrain Beach's Zephyr, ever? There thankfully exists some POV footage, though it's pretty poor quality.

I have, though I think someone else might be working on it. Did you know the crest of the lift hill was saved?

@@RaptorAlexi thought that was a very neat think to save.

Could you do opening year Mr Twister?
@RaptorAlex2 жыл бұрын
I've thought about it, but it was a bit dull. That's why John Allen changed it so soon after it opened like that. I have made Mr. Twister how most people know it.

@@RaptorAlex ah Oke. Ye I saw that and it was quite dope. Also that’s fair. Maybe I should get my pc to work correctly so that it doesn’t crash every time I boot up No Limits or Planet Coaster lel.

A question I had is did the ride shrink in length with the 1930 redesign? If you took the original you have here and simply bent it around into the hook shape it has now would you have track left over? I never rode it in person, but it always seemed like it isn't that long of a ride.

Yes, by about 200 feet. The out-and-back was 2,969 feet long, and Thunderhawk is 2,767.

Thanks. Keep up the good work modeling these classics!
