Whenever we kill her (and we seriously need to kill her- irrespective of her motives henceforth), the worgen and nelves need to be present and take an active canonical part in the fight. Maybe even the belves to a certain extent since she was once their ranger general (not in the context of out right revenge). (Just the belves motives thus far are confusing and they seem split apart on some being blinded by lust for revenge on jaina while others being more tactful. We dont really understand much of the belves motives aside from lorthemar personal opinions. Unless its fleshed out in a novel somewhere which wouldn't be too surprising.)

Somehow ever since TBC expansion Alliance was always victorious and yet they lose more and more territory each expansion. Best continuation of this would be Night Elves to retake old one of old capitals for example Dire Maul since already there they have large presence.

That's why diehard Horde players love Bliz. Every 3rd expansion they get to yell "Lok'tar Ogar", start a war, lose and somehow end up with more land. They doubled on it when they put "peace at any cost" Anduin as the High King... That guy just loves to give away because the Horde used puppy eyes on him. We need Varian back... he would have demanded the head of every Sylvanas supporter (remember his SoO speech) and reparation of the Horde in general (bar maybe the Tauren and BE because they are being forced to fight Alliance by the orcs and Forsaken). Would be funny, Allliance won, Varian still alive, Lorthe'mar quickly switches sides since Undercity is no more and the Argent Crusade promises to do patrols in the Ghostlands. Bliz can finaly drop their "but with armor BE and HE looks the same" excuse (yet so does VE...) and make ogres playable for the Horde. I'm all in team Tyrande and Genn, vengeance, we will hunt down every Sylvanas supporter and get her head for this. No trials or anything, Taran Zhu and Anduin "Peace" Wrynn get a skip.

@@strider8662 Illidan acted. Varian and Anduijs journey is legendary. Jainas as well. Jaina herself reacted to garrosh. There have been constant fighting in the background between horde and alliance. The goblin scenario for example where the alliance were the aggressors cuz of the mission. Though I also understand you. Bfa just felt like we just kept losing until we won... wasnt satisfying on either sides. And atleast in game they just keep reacting, even though the wars better dealt with in lore. Atleast when Anduin was in charge, before Anduin showed him humanity towards the horde. I'm actually interested in how Anduin will grow. Since while his father had to grow soft Anduin had to go the opposite direction ever since BfA started. I hope they do him justice where he deals with the challenges he has to overcome

@@alejandroderienosa4828 Illidan is as alliance as someone like Whitemane was tbh, he is neutral at best and as for Jaina during MoP, it was entirely reactionary. WoW's story pattern has been where horde does stuff and alliance reacts to it for a very long time. Although I completely agree Varian's journey was awesome, I enjoyed Onyxia's storyline far more than alot of the stories nowadays. But stories like that is so few and between, alliance characters are incredibly boring as well as under developed compared to horde ones where they get tons of New stuff every expansion.

If the Night Elves seek revenge and achieve it, what would be the point in them staying with the Alliance? The Alliance were formed in response to the Horde. If the Night Elves feel they can protect themselves without being a part of the Alliance then they would not stay in that faction. Blizzard would have to write them out of the faction and have them separate themselves. If this ever did happen I would expect the Tauren/High Mountain Tauren to also leave and join the NE's.

They may have joined initially for nothing more than to defend against the horde, but times have changed and they've developed as a people, especially after not being isolated in Kalimdor anymore. With the constant invasion of demons, old gods and whatever other crazy things Blizzard throws at Azeroth, them staying in the Alliance makes perfect sense. The main issue is Blizzard constantly using them as guinea pigs whenever they want an alliance race to suffer. They've done this since Warcraft 3 and I don't see them stopping anytime soon.

@@nesnahprotsdam It makes sense when you think about it from Tyrande/Malfuion's perspective. They see Anduin as not helping them in their cause and possibly siding with the Horde (Not Sylvanas). If they were to get revenge and Anduin and the rest of the Alliance did not help, what would they need the Alliance for if they could be considered strong enough to survive without them? Tyrande/Malfurion know that Anduin and the Alliance would never attack them or go to war with them. This does not mean that they stop being friendly and trading etc with the Alliance but again why would they stay? If they felt betrayed and achieved alone what they could not as a group, why stay? What benefit do they gain from being in endless wars against the Horde if they can remain Neutral and still strong enough to fend for themselves?

Anduin making peace with the Horde with be a really bad move for him politically because it shows hes not willing to protect the interests of his allies who deeply suffered. This effectivly realistically speaking would ensure the Night Elves leave the Alliance, followed by the Gilneans. Which with lead to other members questioning Anduin's leadership further.

They may instigate a war or two and maybe do something out of spite for the horde which I dont whole heartedly blame them, but theyll bounce right back.

@@alejandroderienosa4828 I know Jaina's story better than most. What I dislike is that she bounced back to her post-Hyjal self. That is her peace-mogering naive self. Thing is, as far as I see it, Jaina, Tyrande and Genn should want nothing less than complete dissolution of Horde as a political faction. It's only matter of time before the writers have the Horde start another war and we will have this trite story about coming together to face greater evil. I was so hyped to see Jaina finally taking a stand at the start of the expansion only for it to end in her "enderstanding her mistakes" and repenting. Frankly, I largely lost my interest in BfA right after the first patch. Nazjatar was a waste story-wise. And I quit my sub the moment the Nyalotha cinematics came out. Overall BfA was story-wise a horrid expansion and I hope Shadowlands is more like Legion. That is their last chance, for me. And I have grew up with this franchise.

I know it won't happen but I would love to see the Night Elves make a new home in Feralas and from there work on reclaiming northern Kalimdor, It will give the area much needed depth and would be a fine base for them. Also in their desperation and thirst for vengeance they open the door for their lost kin, naga and satyrs, as well as more wild creatures such as harpies and centaur, who have a axe to grind with the Horde as well.

I like to think Tyrande and Malfurion were too busy dealing with the fallout of Teldrassil, and that being what kicked off The Fourth War, there was no room to write cooperation with the Horde in effort against Azshara from their perspective. The whole point of Azshara was supposed to be a surprise attack on her part and to goad the Champion of Azeroth into freeing N'zoth. Which is exactly what happened. Azshara is then freed in N'yalotha, and supposedly returns to Azeroth. Then you learn exactly how things went down between Azshara and Sylvanas when fighting N'zoth. It all clicks. Perhaps there will be more from Azshara in the future, you can almost certainly count on it.

you've not played the game since like Wrath? literally every bad thing in the game happens to the Horde now. Whose leaders go corrupt and become end game bosses? the Horde like 3 times now. Whos city gets invaded? Horde....twice. Horde has gone from Thrall to Garrosh(villain, killed), to Voljin (killed) to Sylvanas (villain, to be killed). While Alliance gets to stand around looking like the honorable victim. Hell, if you count TBC, thats ANOTHER major horde leader that gets the 'turn em into a villain and kill them' treatment.

Leaders go corrupt - and wipe out enemy races and cities before leaving the faction "clean" and also you get to enjoy the spoils of war and fruits of their conquest without any responsibility for their actions since "It was all *Insert leader name*". Titan created races are meant to be on Azeroth, as she is a titan and world soul herself. I am curious. What was blizzard thinking when they planned to destroy tedrassil. Was is really just red vs blue landmass? Where players getting too vocal about faction removal and they needed something to reignate the hate? For me there was an obvious set up for Azshara Vs Tyrande. Azshara was more powerful than Mannoroth himself, said to be on the sabe level of Kil Jaeden. It is REALLY bad writing that she was defeated by the survivors of a couple of ships. Tyrande would be the perfect match for her with her night warrior powers. There was also great space for character development, since Azshara is what Tyrande would become if she doesn't let go of her thirst for power.

But didn't the Alliance got their old human capital city Gilneas back after BFA lorewise, there is literally nothing stopping them from reclaiming it. So technically they got back the entirety of the eastern Kingdoms back, with the exception of Quel'thalas. So didn't they gain a lot of ground through the war, considering that Tirisfal, Silverpine Forest etc now all belong to the alliance because the horde has no more footing there.

That's partially why I believe Horde vs Alliance is the best, but of course everyone has their own tastes. As of cool characters, Warcraft 1 and 2 gave us Orgrim, Blackhands, Lothar, Turaylon, Khadgar, Medivh, Zul'jin, Gul'dan, Ner'zhul etc... Retail wow has been resurrecting these characters for a reason- they are the best they have.

Fun fact the original plan was to smoke out The citizens before burning teldrassil. But sylvanas flipped the “I got killed by arthas card” (used by many many foresaken) got called out, she got mad had a temper tantrum and burned the place to the ground. On the alliance side you have to try and save everyone and I mean everyone in 2-3 minutes with a water bucket.

The burning of Teldrassil and the destruction of the Undercity really were just cheap gimmicks to get people riled up about the faction war. Remember their whole "who started it? And who burned the tree?? Hmmmm? What a mystery, you'll have to find out!" and even though it was obviously the Horde and Sylvanas, people starting talking about it and theorizing. And now that their (pretty sad) faction war story is over, its obvious that they didn't really intend on going anywhere with those big events. But I guess we'll see.

@@pantarim true but what game are you going to play then? because that literally would be the end of wow. unless all races will fall under 1 faction but that require a whole overhaul of the whole game. people tend to forget that besides the story world of warcraft is a video game to and such decisions need to be balanced between the 2 factors as wow isnt a visual novel. 2 factions 2 player base so its always a touch decision to choose between the 2. to be honest i prefer if the race restriction would be gone and every race can join either faction as then they can stop with the whole morally grey and confusion story telling and just go " horde is bad alliance is good aspect " without conflicting with for example chars like bain and thrall who are considers 1 of the good guys as they just switch faction.

In order to break the cycle blizzard shoud have had both side's destroy the other side's cities until only ogrimar and stormwind remain. They need a ww2 event where the war is so horrible. It scares the races of azaroth for generations to come. They didnt. Instead the alliance just lost land, troops, etc. Where the horde lost ofscreen. If you want to end a constant cycle of war there are only two ways to do this. A long period of cooperation(see end of legion) or a war so horrible nobody ever wants to risk it again. Bizzard didnt do either of this. So right now all we have are angry people wanting revenge. A revenge blizzard will never give them.

If you play Night Elves in Vanilla it tells you that this Tree was not blessed and Malfurion did not want. I think Blizzard will spin this and say Sylvanas knew that this Tree feeds the old gods and she knew if she killed the N.E they will be strong worries to aid her in the Shadow-lands and she did nothing wrong. I believe overall this storyline has been poorly handled. If Blizzard wants to do a faction war storyline and want it to be good they have to commit to it, none of this half measured non sense to try and appeal to both factions. You either go all in or don't bother imo. Though I will say in a realistic setting. Were Anduin to deny the Night Elves search for Justice then the Alliance would most likely splinter due to the political precedence it sets. I feel that were he to do that, The Night Elves would formally leave the Alliance, as would the Gilneans and this could very well be a snowball effect where it gets others to leave as well for other reasons mixed with the precedence Anduin sets on "Justice" or Revenge.

I actually think it would be cool if azerite were to play some role there, since Anduin realised it's healing potential and he promised Tyrande that the alliance would retake teldrassil, but realistically I doubt blizz would do that
