I totally ❤️ love this old time gospel singing. It was during my upbringing. We were so blessed back 🙏 then , because we had one to rely on and that was King Jesus. We definitely need to go back to the old time tradition. Ed Johnson

I thank God for that old time, true singing. Along with my mother’s teachings and prayers, it lead me to that Living Water; Jesus Christ 🙌🏼🧥🧥

This brilliant track is from an album that Dorothy made herself in Birmingham. I remember seeing her for the first time in 1970 at the Washington Temple in NYC. And I bought a copy of this record from her as she walked up and down the aisles of the church. I am sure that it's not available on CD. Dot was so powerful that it's hard to think of anyone to compare her to.

She was the greatest of them all in my opinion. She is my favorite female singer of all time.

She was a true musical evangelist. We grew up with her records in the house. It’s sad she didn’t get the recognition she deserved while she was living. But she’s definitely enjoying the reward of a faithful minister of the Gospel.

We as blacks( not (African American as we now have allowed whites to call us, and yet we don't call them European or Caucasian) have walked away from God and now as some earlier said ashamed of who we are, but we had more than the oppressor and after intergration, we wanted to be, like the Israelites, who wanted to be like the other nations, so here we are far from the Living and True God of our fathers of faith and now have worldly life of falsehood and rebellion, this is why 'BACK TO GOD BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE' is the call of God.

This was at a time when we as a people were TRULY real. Not fake hair, fake nails. Not Love and Hip-hop, Not Wives of Atlanta and that other hot mess. We have allowed the enemy to subtly supplant what God gave to us in the form of Praise and Worship and other gifting as well. Do not be ashamed of how He made us AND what He gave us
